Adebayor's length of pitch time

Postby Dr Golfball » Thu Sep 17, 2009 6:55 pm

Alrite Lads n Ladettes. I have a bet on with my mate that I saw a clip on Sky Sports saying that Ade ran the pitch in just over 13 seconds, however he thinks its 16 seconds. I'm currently trying to find a clip, but to no avail. Any help welcomed.

You could each argue that you've won the bet!

In the video below you'll see he starts his run at 5 seconds (0 seconds)
...is on his knees at 18 (13 seconds - your bet)
...and comes to a full halt at 21 (16 seconds - your mates bet)

On Monday evening SSN showed the 'sprint' with a stopwatch in the corner, it stopped at 16.26 seconds.

Best not let my mate see this page. Cheers boys for the help. I kinda glad that i didn't find any clear cut evidence. And i agree with the guys above, if fans give you stick as a player, is the player not intitled for a bit of tounge and cheek?

Agreed! I'm desperate for a nice high-resolution picture of him in front of the Arse fans to set as my desktop but can't find one anywhere...
