Chief Boffin, Mr Bernard Atkinson, called an emergency meeting when Trafford Mean Time was approved in order to save further blushes in the forthcoming months.
A spokesman for the Laboratories said "We have decided to implement this 2 minute delay until May 2010, after which the new TMT will be aborted until August.".
