Agree with most that De Jong stood out and broke up most of their possession before they could build an attack.
However, Fulham offered little going forward and the game was all about breaking them down, and from that perspective Bellamy gave them more problems than anyone else.
But if I had to make a choice, I would have to be Barry. He started most of our few attacks, controlled the middle of the field, got forward into the box as much, if not more than our strikers and scored the first goal when i was beginning to think it would never happen.
Maybe not a night for negatives because the whole game was a bit flat from start to finish, but Ireland was awful and couldn't pass to a blue shirt, SWP and Tevez were knackered after 60 mins, Petrov ran as he always does but gave the ball away too much and Vladi Weiss did not do enough to suggest he is ready to start.
In summary, the three little guys up front only work when we are playing teams on the break (as per Arse and manyoo) and we missed Ade big time because we were too predictable. When we have to break crap teams down at home, we need Robbi.
Relax ... It's only a message board in hyperspace!!
