Not 100% but I think Hart won't be able to play against us.

Other than Villa game, they all look winnable. I'd be satisfied with 10 points and delighted with 13. Can't really see us winning them all but if we do, we can start talking about title challenge seriously.

Wigan won there.

And Villa won in Anfield, still not easy place to go.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

13 Points with only Villa as a Problem. We'll beat the rest and draw against them.

Tricky. I want to guess five wins, but I think we're heading for a dip in form/fortune (let's face it, we've been winning without playing great).

City vs WHU D
Villa vs City L
Wigan vs City W
City vs Fulham D
Brum vs City W

Which gives 8 points... I'm sure hoping for more, though.

13 points. Win 4, draw vs Fulham. We've seen how dependent we are on having a fully-fit squad, and I reckon the Wigan game will create some absentees.

3 sides that finished above us, but 2 of those at home.
can't really see why so many of us are worried about Birmingham.
We should do better out of that 5 than our last 5 (with 2 top 4 sides).
But we will drop points, probably at Villa.
Toss up between 12 and 13 points, so I go 12 points, but we will improve our GD by 6

This may not quite be the best City team I have seen but it is without the question, far and away, the strongest City squad.

I agree entirely.

I'll go for 15/15. We have to believe - no, we have to expect - that we can beat sides like these.

I was working in Blackburn in 1995 when it was all happening for them. They made a great start to the season and there was always the feeling that they hadn't really reached the peak of their potential yet.

Our situation reminds me of that time now. We're doing very well but you really get the feeling the best is yet to come. With all our players fully fit and settled in together, we're going to be awesome.

Ironically I think the other teams and fans can see this easier than we can. You can smell the fear from the teams formerly known as the Top 4 !!!

I've got to go with five out of five. Ade will be back after the Happy Hammers so just in time for the aerial bombardment at Villa. A lot of the good defensive work especially at set plays has been down to having Ade on the fronst stick. The rest, well if we're to be taken seriously, these are the game we need to win. It's about time we beat Wian at the KGB and as I'm going that'll be nice. Brum are truly awful & they will also be without Hart only leaving Fulham and that's another game on a Sunday for them following on from a Thursday Waffa Cup game

All winnable if we keep our form from the start of the season. Realisticly we should expect 12 points but there is no reason we cannot get 15 points out of that bunch. Villa away being the only hard game. Last season Wigan would have been a problem but this season they have been gash. Villa game I think will show where we are at this season if we can beat them away then top 6 shouldn't be a problem this season.

We're 3 points ahead of Burley (game in hand though) and they're in 9th.

If we're going to want to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season then the next 6 games are crucial. 18 points is a serious target but it's something we'll need to do sooner or later if we're going to break into the elite. They're all winnable fixtures.

We need a good run of form heading into Liverpool and Chelsea over 3 games. There's no point in gaining the hard points and letting the easy ones slide, except in so far as we take points away from our rivals.

I'd prefer to see us consistently winning against mid/lower table teams and draw against CL rivals in preference to getting a few high profile results and dropping more points the week after when no one is paying attention.

Yep - Sun 1 Nov, 1600. We should get KK to come up with some sort of fixture list showing which games are televised...

Can't see us losing any of those.

This is where paying all that extra dosh for players should come through i.e. Given making a top save, Lescott/Toure taking control of the back four, Barry/De Jong controlling the midfield and bellamy/santa cruz etc. nicking one.

The margin of losing/winning can be so small and hopefully one or two of the above will be the difference.

But the beauty of football means that nothing is that predictable. Here's hoping though.
