Games 6-10

12 from 15 last five only Vhero got the right number of points, shocking. However he also followed that up by saying we would win all the matches except draw with the filth, so his math might be off a little. However, moving on.

3 away games, no Adebayor for the Hammers game and unlikely to be Robinho for a couple of games yet.

City v West Ham

Aston Villa v City

Wigan v City

City v Fulham

Birmingham V City

They are all winnable games but I will go with 11 points out of that little lot.
City v west ham united (3)
villa v City (3) got my ticket so they better win
Wigan v City (1) just think we'll find them hard to breakdown
City v Fulham (3)
Brum v City (1) like Wigan tough to breakdown so difficult.

If we have lofty ambitions we gotta win our home games

City v West Ham (3)
Villa v City (3)
Wigan v City (3)
City v Fulham (3)
B'ham v City (3)

Full points, we're going to start rolling. Especially once we get ade and robbie back ... our options in attack can drastically change mid game.

If we have any aspirations at all in winning the prem or at least finish in the top 4 then we have to pick up at least 13 points from that lot. Hardest game will be Villa away so a draw would be an excellent point. However, although we have a much stronger squad in terms of ability, it does appear we are thinner on the ground than last season.

On that basis I'm going for wins against west ham, fulham and birmingham, a draw with Wigan and defeat at Villa (with Dunne scoring at the right end for the winner).

10 points is still quite good in the next five games

I'm going:

City v West Ham (3)
Villa v City (3)
Wigan v City (3)
City v Fulham (3)
B'ham v City (3)

15 points! Taking us to 27 points from 10 games! Premiership winning form!

City are back, City are back!

Maybe I should have gone to specsavers, because my blue tinted glasses can't see any of the next 5 opponents beating us. Villa maybe force a draw but we should win the others.
This may not quite be the best City team I have seen but it is without the question, far and away, the strongest City squad.

I can't believe that some people are banking on us to beat Villa away. Personally I'd be delighted with point from that.

Other than Villa game, they all look winnable. I'd be satisfied with 10 points and delighted with 13. Can't really see us winning them all but if we do, we can start talking about title challenge seriously.
