Liverpool seem to have had a relatively handy start to the season... certainly compared to us.

I mean, the only top six sides they've played they've lost to and every other week besides I seem to think they've a handy number?

Fuck Arsenal, if we're getting top four I reckon its Pool we'll take. Actually, I'll start a poll!

A few possible banana skins this week.

Stoke could give the rags are shock, they don't usually lie down and could cause an upset.
Fulhan are no mugs these days and could hurt Arsenal.
Villa won't have it easy at Ewood.
Can't see man problems being posed by Burnely at spurs or Hull at Anfield.
A couple of draws in there should help the City cause.

GBH (ok, ok, TBH) almost got a headed goal for them - Howard pulled off a save though.

Stoke are so fucking scared of the rags it's pathetic. They could win this game but they're doing everything, attacking & defending, in a state of near panic & total disorganisation. This is the biggest problem the PL has with the rags imo; teams not playing their normal game against them. They treat it as a special occasion & run round like headless chickens charging into tackles & leaving gaps. If they gain some composure they could beat this rags team.

Yeah mate. That's what REALLY pisses me off that all the smaller teams go to old scumford for "less than four goal margin loss". What does it matter if they get hammered by nine goals if they gave it a good go?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Stoke are doing my head in. Taking the ball off the rags with ease then kicking it 10- 20 yards to a rag player facing them or sometimes even goal side. Rags defence look iffy when Stoke have a rare attack .

What do you expect though. Opposite tie in Britannia last season. They had 11 men behind the ball all game and lost 0-1. In post much talk Pulis was wanking over his players how they put "massive performance" and they can be "very proud of themselves". Now rags are obviously miles better team but praising your players when they've lost, especialy at home, is just loser mentality.

When they played us they defended well & leathered the ball down the channels looking for corners, throw-ins etc & kept putting high balls into our box. The rags have barely had to defend any high balls & Stoke have spent the whole half chipping, heading the ball gently to rag players in their own half, often giving it to them on the ground so they don't even have to fight for it. The rags haven't been good enough to accept the gift yet but surely they will if Stoke don't show some balls.
