Some great results from our point of view - now we need a strong performance on Monday

Got a bit sentimental watching the goals from Blackburn with a weak header & a handball from Dunney contributing largley to both goals.

If most of the PL are going to be as scared of the rags as Birmingham, Stoke, Wigan & Spuds they won't even have to get out of 1st gear to win 90% of the games. Hopefully one or two teams will have a bit more confidence against them when Rooney gets injured/suspended & Giggs' legs fall off.

Stoke could give the rags are shock, they don't usually lie down and could cause an upset

The Villa and Chelsea results are just what the doctor ordered, bringing Chelsea back within range and leaving Vill just out of range below us.
A good result for Fulham will leave Arsenal trailing by a comfy distance too.
All we have to do is win our games in hand and we are very nicely placed indeed.
A win on Monday will make it an excellent weekend for us.

More than happy with that table - fifth place with two games in hand on everyone above us, just need to turn them into points.

Correct.Lets hope we turn them games in hand into 6 points then were joint top.
All the teams outside the top 4 would be happy with 5th without the games in hand.
Mon night cant come soon enough.

If we want to keep intouch we must keep winning, and if we cant win, a draw is a must, keep the point coming in.

I wish Ade didnt have to go to ACON's , we are missing him. Hope RSC can get it together for the games Ade is going to miss later in the year.

Toure is the big hole. No guarantee Onuoha will be fit at this point and I am hoping Micah isn't getting shuffled as it could be some hairy defensive performances with him and lescott.

When is ACON's? Will we not just buy to replace them both in Jan?

Some great results and confident we can get 3 points on monday and then Adebayor, RSC and possibly Johnno back for Villa it all seems rosy on paper.

Hopefully the Everton game is soon so we can get the points on the board rather than game in hand.

And the last one went from January 20th to February 10th.
