CITY DIRECTORS VISIT BRAZILIAN CLUBS

Image

Mike Rigg, a Manchester City director is travelling the world in search of the "next big thing". Recently, he has visited some Brazilian clubs - Grêmio de Porto Alegre, Internaciona/RS, Atlético de Minas and Cruzeiro so that he can get to know more about them and exchange information.

The City representatives met at Toca da Raposa 1, which houses the football base and at Toca da Raposa 2, for professionals and administrative headquarters located in Barro Preto. City are keen to pick up to tap into the talent in Brazil and all over the world as they look to convince the parents of the child to let their son sign for the Blues when he is legible.

One of City's major objectives from the ADUG take-over was to continue the fantastic work of the academy and to continue building from the base of the club.

The first step to a future partnership between Grêmio and Manchester City was made on Wednesday. The Grêmio director met two of City's directors - Luis Vicente and Mike Rigg. They were at the Olympic Stadium to see the structure of the club and make formal agreements.

There is also news coming out of Brazil that City are interested in signing Kleber, the Brazilian striker. He currently wants out of his club after a spat with the fans. I couldn't see City being interested in siging him as we have an abundance of strikers. A very reliable from Brazil has told me that he wouldn't recommend Kleber as he has a very fiery temper - similar to that of Wayne Rooney's.

Please visit Carlos' blog - he is the City fan in Brazil that is my "very reliable source" -

I do like the fact that the title just refers to us as City though.....nuff said re our current profile these days!!

Ah he does appear to be a real person.....not sure if this is the other guy in the photos and Rigg is the suited man at the very top, came in from Blackburn last December so it seems

This is great news.

I'm getting a tattoo of Kleber on my arse.

What was the name of that Brazilian striker about 10 years ago who was a fucking crazy bastard and use to get monkeys drunk and generally live a rock n roll life style, had an awesome scoring record for his club but not as good for his country
