He's a top fella. Loads of respect for him.
But again for our goal, who was caught out big style, dunne.
Way out of position and gave ade all the time in the world to pick his man.
Proved why he's gone for me. Clumsy again.

Is that what happens?

My support goes way beyond that way of thinking. I still have massive respect for all our legends.

And I told that to my good buddy Peter Barnes only a few weeks ago... and probably lots of other shit too ...

Ah, good times, eh Gillie? ;)

Anyway, fair play to you big lad. A lot of others would have tried to rub it in our faces...

Well done to him. He didn't take the piss when he scored & he had the decency to cock up the next one that came along! I hope he has a great career there.

He got alot of respect from our end the whole game, a little clap of recognition would of been nice at the end but whatever we did ourselves proud, them brummies gave barry shit the whole game. We are impeccable!

Upon a rewatch of the reaction and his interview quotes he has gone back up a bit in my estimations....also like the way that the travelling support bolstered our reputation as the best fans in the land and all the world...

Some City fans applauded Dunne's goal which was in stark contrast to the negative reaction former Villa captain Gareth Barry - who joined City in a £12million deal in August - received on his first return to the Midlands.

"As much as it was nice to score my first goal here in front of the Villa fans, I still have to remember how Manchester City have helped me throughout my career," explained Dunne.

"You have to remember Man City looked after me for a long time. I enjoyed my time at City and respect the fans and everyone there so it was the right thing to do for me.

Dunne leaving City IMO opinion is one of very few mistakes Hughes has made, Dunne is a legend and Hughes should have understood the man more, he would have fought for his place and been a model pro and great back up, not a pain in the arse which IMO Hughes was not prepared to risk.
