i like Joe, but everytime I've seen him for Brum he's looked really average at best.

Congrats big Joe.
Sadly the england goalkeeping pool is really shallow so getting left out would be more of an achievement.

I think if our two choices are green and hart, we better plan the trip to book out after the group stages. I am hoping James is still number one, if not I would consider Robinson.

Someone said he thought Hart has been pretty average so far at B'ham.
Could be. Could also be that Brum are crap and he's punching above his weight to keep them going.
As for Slims idea for getting James. Well that's tosh. Why should Hart be any worse than the other players playing in a very strong England team ?
Put him in there and let him make the kind of mistakes Robinson, James , etc have made. You know it's not going to happen.
He's young and raw , but a damn good goalie.
I really think that a year away from City will force Hughes to sort Given out. A goalkeeper that stays put on the line and doesn't command the penalty area is no top class goalie.

Why should one player be worse than another?

Correction: It's Robinson who is injured, Flapper is just shite.

To be honest, with how the media treat England keepers if the fuck up I'd rather Joe stayed away from the team.
Too many good up and coming keepers have had serious confidence knocks after making a mistake in net for England and the whole country being on their backs. They are too young to handle it.

Green, Hart and Foster have all had bad starts to the season and can be blamed directly for conceding goals.
We have a choice of James, Green, Hart, Foster, Robinson, Carson.
Whoever gets the nod at the World Cup is bound to make a big mistake in one of the games as none of them are mentally tough enough for high pressure matches
