Postby dazlebluefrog » Fri Oct 09, 2009 9:45 pm

this site like most club supporters sites get quiet during international breaks so i got wondering about next year ,with us being evens in the betting to finish top 4 what sort of kit would we be likely to play in the chumps league ?(i know its still early but after over 30years supportin the only team in manchester the excitement is starting to get to me )a lot of teams bring out a "special kit" for the chumps league and i wanted to know what you thought would look good, i'm shit with the computer but how about one like the home kit ,sky blue top with gold strips going down??sorry if this has been mentioned or if any of the lads think its not worth a thread close it

Never mind the 4th kit, do you think we should play next seasons European cup final in the red and black striped kit, seems pretty apt was a lucky kit for us ?

Plus I think the red and black ribbons will stand out more on the Cup

I'd rather not have any more kits! We have already three each year!
So just the home kit with different style of numbers.

Would love to see a return of the Maroon.. Maybe a maroon shirt with sky-blue trim and a sky-blue stripe running vertically down from the top shoulder in-line with the badge, so the badge is set inside the stripe which runs sown the lenght of the shirt.. That would look cool..

On this line of thought- does anyone know how long each of this season's kits are supposed to be used for?

I'd actually like to see us set an example by not fleecing fans and keep the same kit for a few years.

The thing is, they can put out as many kits as they like. You don't HAVE to buy them. I buy every second home kit. I would love to get my hands on this season's kit but I'm waiting for the next one.

Chill yer boots, yer Aussie nonce.

Some of us like to look up to date when we're off to the match.

We can't all walk around with suspicious looking goatees and split ends.

I want to see us in blue.

But the red and black is a good away one.

3 kits a season is fine by me, I play 5 a side 3 nights a week, so it's great to get a new kit after a yr of sweating them out.

Do prefer they do away with the limited release bollox though, I buy em all, but it's a penny pincher being made to do it by a certain date or risk missing out.
Tracking back is overrated.

No you can't. It takes talent to pull that off. Thankfully, I've got it in spades.
