2, up until the last game of last season it would have been none.

It was one of the best days of my life to finally see city play live, my brother said I was like a kid at christmas when I got my first glance of the players warming up on the pitch, I stood open mouthed in awe, its a memory I'll never forget.

I think there are a few options missing. I've done 30-40 games a season since 1974. I've had a sprinkling of seasons doing 40+ so I reckon somewhere around 1300-1500 games.
I've been on over 60 grounds watching us, some like Villa park or Forest at least a dozen times. So I'd guess that I've done well over 200 away games.

So I'm with Fish when he says >>>>Voted 10k + It's not quite been that many but voting only 100+ somewhat demeans my stature as a supporter Lol :-)

There should be a 500+ and 1000+ choice. Rubbish poll I'm afraid

We don't have to get so bloody accurate

Anyone who votes 100+ you can count as someone who has been regular that's all Jesus!

It's not a one upmanship contest ;-)

i reckon i must have been to over 100 games. first one was against preston in old division 2, were 1-0 down when we arrived! hooked ever since! went to the majority of the home games in the seasons after that but aint been as much recently. trying to change that this season though, been to arsenal game and got tickets for scunthorpe and burnley. Been to about 1000 plus, season ticket holder since 1976 and only missed 3 home games in that time.
Ive done 83 different grounds in England watching City and 9 different countries. I am including friendlies btw.

To have done 10000+ you would have to be approx 150 years old and never ever have missed a game home , away, friendlies, reserves youth team and all the way down to under nines.

I think 1k plus should be city legend status

And if you count reserve games, which I went to from being four, I'd done a hundred games before I was 10.
Get a poll for real regulars. And real oneupmanship.
John68 can beat me for longevity, but being as though he is a part time fucker, I reckon I'm well out attending him.

I think we should have one upmanship lol

City cost me my first marriage as I chose to keep on going away after being given a few ultimatums from the ex trout.

I think it was Grimsby away, a night game and got my final warning, when I got back She had fucked off, with most of my furniture I may add. To top it all off we lost 4-1. Those were the days lol

I've been to most home games since early 70's but was going in the late 60's when my folks would take me! Only missed a handful of home games since about '72 ish & went to a lot of away games mid 70's to mid 80's. Don't know what that adds up to but if you find anyone that's done 10k, they're obviously among the ranks of the undead & should be avoided at evening games.

A Wind Up Merchant. We don't have too many on here but it happens occasionally. There's a couple who you'd swear were on a wind up but the sad fact is; they really are that stupid.

Personally i'd love to take a first timer to a game...i've taken girlfriends before...but never a proper fan to their first game...would be great just to see the reaction!

I am waiting to take my mates two little lads with us for their first game.....we're waiting til we know they'll appreciate it. The little one (Fred) added the words "Pablo Zabaleta" do his vocabulary when he was under two years old so I think we're grooming them well!

I remember taking one of my ex gf's to her first game, it was a night match and we were high up in the Kippax.....we came out onto the into the stand just as the cheer went up for the teams coming out....the pitch looked amazing and her face was like an excited kid on Xmas day.....she was hooked on City from that point on.

We've been split up for years and she still travels up from London for games with her now husband who she converted into a City fan!

Perversely my most regular periods of attendance probably ranged from 1990-93 and then 97-2000 pre and post university and mainly prior to moving to London and elsewhere when I rarely missed a home match and got to quite a lot of aways.

The latter period was particularly poor from a footballing quality perspective.

When in London I probably got to 5 homes a season and all the London games

Then as soon as we get loaded and good, I move thousands of miles away

It's official I am a genius

had to go for 0 - living a few thousand miles away hurts my chances of making a game anytime soon

hoping to make a trip to England in 2012 in late August - maybe catch a bit of the Olympics and a City match to boot.

have a feeling i'll make it to at least one match in my lifetime.

Iv been over a 100xs but could not say exactly how many. First game was a week after the Man U 5-1 against Luton and i think we won 3-1. I can recall Gary Cooper in goal and the Bish playing.

I will always associtate Maine Rd with my childhood and youth and very happy times but I still miss the place and feel sad when i drive to training and see that its not there. COMS is ok and is slowly getting better but i still find it hard to call it home.
