Don't they have more fans per head of population than anywhere in the country or something like that?
.......and I think their decent home record this season and their cup run last season was helped along by the 12th man.

Don't forget that a head count at Burnley will usually be higher than the actual attendance...

Was impressed by how much noise the Pompey fans made, both at home and away.

And the West Ham fans I have met have seemed very genuine.

West Ham fans and Villa fans over here are good for a chat, booing Barry spoiled Villa for me though. West Ham treated Tevez well despite ripping em apart other week, so they get my nod.
Tracking back is overrated.

Sheffield Wednesday - Remind me a lot of us City fans, they are very very good at taking the piss out of themselves. And like us, usually have a good away following, and a pretty good home following for that matter.

Newcastle fans, always seem to turn out in their droves regardless of how shit things are going for them!

Its a myth mate

"In the 90/91 season Newcastle finished eleventh in the second tier of English football and their average attendance was 16,835"

I've been to a couple of Wednesday games in the last couple of years (girlfriends family are all wednesdayites) and they've got good fans. Last time I went there were 30k+ there for a game against someone shite. They remind me a lot of ourselves as well.

I'd go with Sunderland as well, there always seems to be a good atmosphere at the stadium of light.

I seem to recall Newcastle gettign some dire crowds when they were, well, dire. CAn't be arsed looking up the stats so correct me if I'm wrong. They do sing a bit mind, so fair play to em.

Mackems are quality fans, especially away, and West Ham are good value too.

PSG anyone?!

Fratton Parks attendances are down this season Spam and Makems have gone down and still fans have turned up. Leeds had a protest of a no show for half a season when ken bates put ticket prices up which he then duley dropped when they didn`t go, now they average about 26k.

The only ones that stand out for me are Sunderland.
Always had a warm welcome even after the vass thundergoal 2 years ago which saw our inebreiated, fancy dress attired ranks dancing in the builders skips and shouting at the big black cat on the back of their stadium that the Cheshire cat could have it any day!
(20 years ago we'd have been fucking hammered but only one or two voiced thier sentiments - we were really out of order but very pissed).
Good lads though who stick by their club!

Villa at Villa Park.

I've been to a few Forest home games and the atmosphere has generally been terrible, ground half empty, and they've only got 3 songs.

Not quite sure of the question but from what I've read I'd have to go for Stoke and Burnley. Been Stoke a couple of times with Stokey type people (not against City of course) and the same with Burnley.

>>>For loyalty we are top of the tree but Leeds fans come a close second, the gates they are still getting are tremendous.

Bollocks man. They went from 39,000 in 2003 to 22,000 in 2006, when they were the 8th best supported club in the Coca Cola behind the hotbeds of Norwich, Ipswich, Southampton and fucking Leicester. Part time, desert in droves, fuckers.

Pompey always seem enthusiastic.
WBA generate a decent atmos at home games.
Always found QPR to be by far the friendlies home fans. Quite surprising for a London outfit.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
