The balloon was a much sturdier effort than the one which fucled us - it defo deflected the ball as it was going straight at Reina - the deflection clearly distracted Reina coz he was looking at the balloon when the two spherical objects collided
Liverpool have been a shambles - the fat waiter will be on his way if this continues - no Torres or Steeeeveeee and the dippers are mid table

I think it may have been a beach ball, but whatever it was the funny part is that it had a red scousers badge on it

I see Pompey have scored to make it 1-2 and Defoe has stamped Mokoena and got sent off! I really hope Spurs fuck up their lead

Ok with the aid of that footage Im starting to form a theory - COMPRESSED air can obviously affect the flight of the ball.

Bet he's going to be sent to bed without supper. Probably won't sleep very well either.

Yeah it looked a bit stronger then a balloon, and the spin on the ball makes it bounce on the side of the beach ball... I think it would have been even funnier if both balls went in the net...

I think it was more of a beach ball than a balloon.

Anyway.....I find it weird this year that I am hoping the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal loose. For years I have always wanted the three to win so that they can mount a challenge against Man United but now i see them as close rivals and want them all to loose. I feel its open this year and if we can stay injury free and keep the nucleus of the team together who knows?? I have never really been a believer but im really starting to sway.

Great win by Sunderland. Everton dropped points too and of course Chelski.

Not the worst set of results for us.

Losses for Liverpool and Chelsea. If we are going to finish top 4 then we must take our chances when the sky 4 slip up.

Tommorows games is now a massive game.

Liverpool really look poor, Not taking anything away from Sunderland who on this form look top 8. At the moment Id put us Villa and Spurs as better teams than Liverpool. I know its now an old cliche but Liverpool without Gerrard and Torres are a mid table side.

We win tomorrow that's takes us the 19 and three points off top spot with a game in hand......can we really shake off the typical City tag and go and win tomorrow and win our game in hand?

If ever there was a time to put "typical City" to bed once and for all , it´s tomorrow
