Play against City live?.

For me it's Thierry Henry in the game when Arsenal, well Henry destroyed us 5-1

Brilliant player.

Only seen us play against Wigan and Pompey, which makes it quite a hard choice ... James? Krancjar?

Berbatov was amazing for Spurs aswell two years ago when they knocked out of the Carling Cup in the q/f's, although he's been average since he's been at the Rags.

Agree completely, he tore us to shreds like I've never seen that day. And we all clapped him off the pitch despite being stuffed, I wonder if he remembers that.

Leeroy Lita bagged a double against us last time I was over, he'll have to do for me.

He was awesome that day and Dunnie didn't know what had hit him!
I think he will remember the fact that we not only clapped him off but also applauded Arsenal in general for the way they demolishion us with some of the best football i can remember from a visiting team at Maine Road.
Not many fans do that!

Portsmouth fans once gave Henry a standing ovation when he played against them. They clapped him off the pitch.

He probobly deserved it mate he was a fantastic player at the very peak of his game a few years ago.
A remember watching MOTD and seeing him score a great goal from a free kick at highbury at the clock end and he just turned round non plused taking in the crowd's adulation. Great, great player at his peak!

Well, I saw Pele play, saw him in the 1966 World Cup. So since he's the best footballer ever he should be the best I ever saw, except he wasn't very good in that tournament because the Hungarians and Portuguese kicked lumps out of him. Speaking of Portugal, I saw Eusebio in 1966 too, and speaking of Hungary I saw a player called Albert who had the best game of his life in one of the group matches at Goodison and the crowd stayed behind afterwards shouting his name till he came out for a lap of honour. But the best player I ever saw over a few years, not just one or two matches? Easy, no one to touch him: Duncan Edwards.

He played for Brazil in the '66 World Cup,in the group stages at Goodison, and that's when I saw him. No one said the thread is who was the best footballer who played v. City, but the answer to that question is still Duncan Edwards, and probably always will be.

Zbigniew Boniek, Alan Hansen, Dennis Bergkamp, Glenn Hoddle, Gary Lineker, Paul Gascoigne, Matt Le Tissier, Kenny Dalglish, Allan Simonsen, Kevin Keegan. All top players.

Probably Lineker of those. Like lightning, especially over the first couple of yards, and his finishing was as good as anyone I've ever seen.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I remember thinking "fuck me I wish he played for us" about Klinnsman, and Overmars too. Henry was top but I don't like his face.

For City, only for limited games through injury and we were skint and sold himTrevor Francis.Best Debut at Stoke away ever.
Colin Bell just class nuf said.
Prem Vieira, in his pomp, Shearer but not against us that often got a big applause at Coms. Scholes, Giggs both could have played in any era. World player Messi, a must have for any rich club.
