you question the workings of Hughes, then out come the hounds, you’re not a true City fan, you don’t go to the games blah blah blah……..,I know one forum where threads are now pulled so as not to cause offence to the powers that beat at City, its all a bit pathetic.

Personally I don’t care who our manager is as long as we get success, but I am not deluded either I can tell when we are on a slippery slope, what’s happening now is all reminiscent of the Sven era when earlier in the campaign we were scraping wins and draws,mostly against the run off play in some games and we were in a lofty position in the league, some of us could see the writing was on the wall because we were playing shit and our manager was one dimensional(sound familiar), we were called doom and gloomers,I still bump in to fans who think Sven was the Messiah and the chosen one rather than the fraud that the bloke was.

Who can forget some fans protesting for that clowns reinstatement outside Coms ?

We now have another manager who doesn’t have a fcuking clue,Robinho will soon be gone as will Ireland, whilst some fans salivate at the prospect of replacing world class players for crocks and cloggers, other fans like me are having nightmares at the prospect of the future under this clueless negative RAG cnut and his concept of the beautiful game..

I have seen enough now to realise that Hughes will take us nowhere, spending £200,000 000 every transfer window wont help either, at the end of the day what’s the point giving the clown any more money to spend when he doesn’t know how to spend it,

I have tried to like the bloke but we are going backwards, I expect him to be gone the end of this season unless he suddenly makes some sort of weird metamorphis from a bench sitting village idiot in to a World Class Premiership manager and it aint going to happen, all that’s going to happen is we will be prolonging the inevitable until the penny finally drops with our owners, hopefully though to much more off this Blackburnesq beautiful game might hasten his departure from City.

I still remember Hughes giving the finger to the Kippax all those years ago, have never forgotten it.

I have to say that this initial post is laughable - I have been a member coming up to a year now and I can tell you (and I am no Hughes lover) - that it is categorically the anti Hughes brigade that do the vast majority of the extremist vitriolic spouting off / shouting people down by far

They make people more neutral fans (like me) start to challenge just for some balance

Thanks for the insight - I kick myself because I keep making the mistake of coming on to this site expecting to discuss things about the club I love and keep getting disappointed by the quality of what I read - debate is good - argument is fine - even serious disagreement is healthy on message boards - trouble is, they are also vulnerable to simplistic idiots who have seemingly only a shallow understanding of football - and probably less commitment to CITY.

I have to say some of those posters most commented on as being extreme - I have found to be not quite so when reading other (non Hughes) posts from them - but some others just must be WUMs

What makes me laugh is that when I first joined this site I kept reading disparaging comments about Bluemoon - a forum I had never been on. I have actually frequented the site a bit in recent months - and I do not know if it has got better or we have been invaded by dicks - but the difference does not seem great between the 2 - certainly I am not sure that we can be so aloof any more

You see mate, what I think has happened is that because there are so many screaming WUMs on Bluemong these days, they aren't even listening to each other and no one is biting because there's a new WUM/Rant every second minute.... so then it spills over onto this site and they have their voices back and loads willing to bite.

I think there's about three who were regular posters on other shit sites and either got banned or could no longer be heard and we now have them. They don't get involved in football analysis or debate. They disappear when city are on a good run. Pretty much their entire post count is made up post defeat. Thread after thread after thread that have different titles, but the same message - the club is rotting from the inside and hughes is the virus.... they are the true city fans for knowing this first and we don't want the best for city because we support him while he's in charge.

BTW I'm not saying that everyone who wants hughes gone on this site is a WUM or Bluemonger - obviously there is a camp on here that give their reasons and we have debated back and forth until we were BLUE in the face... the problem is that these other WUMs allign themselves with the hughes out camp and it covers the board.

YOu will find that on most of the posts there is decent discussion going on about the Pro's and Cons - unfortunatly its fragmented because people (LIKE YOU) feel the need to open More and More threads about the same topic ...

Why did you open anouther thread? Doing so waters down the quality of posts and quality of discussions and arguments contained in the existing threads - You say you want quality disucssion and to raise a debate but then you actively make the situation worse ...

Is this just to provide your own ego with knowledge that people are taking notice of you for once in your life?

If your Post or rants get ignored on already existing threads its maybe because it soundsjust like all the others, or you couldnt be arsed reading the threads in the first place and joining a conversation at a point were it has evolved - it isn't a prompt to create
your own ...
