Manchester City vs Burnley Match Thread

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

What a load of bollox - really pissed off - but I still want managerial stability - we all know we can score goals and proved it again today but we have to get the back four up to the good old dunne/distin days and we have surely paid enough to expect that but it aint happening

Lescott needs to step up to the mark pretty soon as does Richards but to hit the panic button now is just insane

2 points from 2 home games is real bad shit but we are still in the chase

If you are looking for blame and dont have a hughes chip on your shoulder i reckon tevez lescott richards hughes
and perhaps cruz need to prove there worth

Sorry boys, but he won't be going anywhere.... Well not until the end of the season anyway. We're stuck with him, so let's just hope he get's his arse into gear and sort things out. As things stand right now, we're heading for another typical City season and false dawn no.!?!

He lost me about 10 months ago.

Hughes isn't on the field to hold thier hands and shake them to make sure thier not Fucking asleep! They are professionals, play the games until the whistle blows, we shouldn't need to score more then three goals!

yes, but if they do it game after game surely the manager has to change it, i doubt you you see hughes drop barry or lescott,or any of his big signings

I agree with you, he should have dropped lescott, and he made a mistake in tatics. But it isn't hughes fault that we let the final goal in, I don't care who we have playing center back. If we are up three - two to burnley at home and lescott falls asleep its not hughes fault. It is lescotts. Drop him for the next game. I just think that no matter what league or player or anything of the sort, they get paid mad amounts of money to not fall asleep and its the defenses fault they did.

Yes m8.Im truly worried about our defense. It looks weak.Lescott is a diff player to what he was at Everton..He should have been our ideal signing to replace Dunney and has had ample chances to prove it.

Just to add, Lescott, Barry and Tevez have been well and truly awful and they probably deserve just as much stick as the manager is getting. All three need dropping, cause they're a fucking joke, especially Lescott and Tevez. Taggart must be pissing himself right now.

Hughes and Bowen need a good fisting up the arse. I hope Khaldoon went in the dressing room aterwards with his rubber glove.

Be glad you wrote that in Norwegian, you'd be slated by the happy clappers, if they understood that ;-)
What a fucking weekend. Sognedal (my favourite Norwefgian team) lost yesterday as well, and today AIK (the moste despisable team in Sweden) won the Swedish cup to make the double.
