Oh yes he has - and I do not want to go into the European courts / contract laws / employment laws debate again (of which I would know more than most on here unless they are a specialist) - CL is an invitation competition - and therefore all that is required is to set out the terms of the entry to that competition etc - that is why that there has been all sorts of talk from Platini about preventing acceptance to their competition - this is within their rights and whilst an appeal could be made in the courts it would be retrospectively and far too late and likely not to succeed - imagine the Judge: -
"... Oh - so you applied to enter a competition for which the entry rules were clearly set out in 2010 and in accordance with those rules you were non-compliant - and your point is????????" - one thing I can say with professional certainty is that the contractc / competition laws in the EU are totally irrelevant in this respect - so people please get off that theme
