No no no. He's probably the most sought-after player on the planet. So, IF we would ever be able to attract him, that means we would be able to attract anyone. Just sign all the other great players apart from him and we'll shit all over his team, whether that be Madrid or some other club. Does that make any sense?

Makes perfect sense, in fact I was gonna say something similar but won't bother now.

There are three players or ex players that I could never ever support if they were at City in any capacity.
Roy Kunt
Gary Chuckle
and that dirty, smarmy, greasy, diving, cheating bastard....s'pose that's a NO then.

Could not say it any better than that (although I would include Chuckle 2 and scholes)

Hell yes, I don't care where he came from or who he played for. It's about the best man for the job and I would hate to think we have hypocrites around here who are more concerned with his history as a rag than the player he is. Especially those that lectured the board ad nauseum over ignoring Hughes past and the 'pathetic' excuse of not wanting an ex-rag as our manager.

Apart from john who has stated he is a hypocrite, how come we haven't heard from the rest of the happy clappers?

If you are referring to me Slim...You are right Mate.

I have never had a problem with those like Hooty Van Tooty who initially and honestly came out and said Hughes's rag history was a problem. Nor did I ever argue against that point.
I always fully understood and accepted their feelings. Hughes just didn't register that highly on my personal hate list.

Then who are you to judge others on their hatred of Hughes coming to manage the club? The last fucking thing I want it to get stick after we win the league from the filth saying we could only do it with one of there's leading the way, especially when it's not a necessity. Of course we can always respond with Busby, but most of them are too fucking clueless for that name to even register.

I'm totally the opposite. I hate Ronaldo more than the Rags. He's a continual cheat, and also seems to have a major personality complex about not being attractive enough to break the 'Beckham mould' (just look at his personal antics that have gotten minimal press coverage- Gemma Atkinson, Paris Hilton FFS!). There is no person that I'd more hate to be at the club than him. In fact, were it not for BiH having a serious chance in the playoffs, I'd rather him play in the matches, on the off chance that Pandza would break his ankle, that's how much I dislike him. And I wouldn't wish injury on ANY player, except him.

Love City more than I hate rags, even more so ex rags. So yes for me.

The world would take notice, the rags would be pissed off, we'd have one of the best players in the world playing for us. How can that be a bad thing?

No a chance - for a start he doesnt even mention even thinking about coming to City (nothing in quotes) and the only thing he's quoted as saying about us is that we have no history compared to the scum.

Fuckin red tw@t and a red tw@t article!

only if we signed him in january as he is is at his peak at the moment, however, if we leave it a few years then there will be better out there and we can continue to mock lady boy at our leisure. especially when we play Madric in the CL!

The guy is a cunt. But I thought the same of Hughes when he elbowed Edghill and knocked him out while playing for Southampton. Football fans in general are very fickle.
