MOM v Chelski

Postby xavi6 » Sat Dec 05, 2009 7:43 pm

Can only be one winner for me.

NIGEL DE JONG

Unreal performance today from the wrinkly dog. Coincidentally enough, my away shirt with his name on it arrived yesterday. I'll be proud to wear that.

De Jong for me as well but Tevez runs him a close second and not just for his goal.

Those two players are a delight for managers. Never complain, always give 100%. I'm made up we signed Tevez

NDJ, but they were all fantastic.

Has to be Nigel yeah. Bossed their world class midfield.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

The work ethic was there today from everyone , but Nigel De Jong was absolutely Awsome, and I would like to add there are not many keepers who come off best from Lampard , Given is the best in the World IMO. NDJ for me.

I was a bit unsure about De Jong last season but this season he has really shown me just how good he is. He's absolutely relentless.

He harries players constantly and his tackling is brilliant. A colossus of a performance today.

Nigel by a mile. Tevez and Lescott stood out also in an allround good performance from the whole team and cannot discount Given's contribution of course.

Just got back...what a game. Up there with Hamburg for me.
De Jong was absolutely outstanding. I have not witnessed such a fantastic individual performance in my life! He seemed to win the ball all game, closed down and was everywhere! A hero after that!!

That performance from Nidge is up there with one of the best I have witnessed. Top class. For thoughs who have not seen it he went over to block 110 and lobbed his shirt into the crowd and was giving the big Come On....love it!!!

Our fantastic Goalkeeper. Best in the buisness. I have lost count of the amount of points he has got us since he signed.

NDJ just edged Shay for me. Shay pulled off a couple of brilliant saves, stopped a penalty, and was vey unlucky with the goal conceded.
What a shift the whole team put in. Tevez and SWP running had Chelsea on the back of their heels all afternoon.

I especially loved the attitude of the City players after the og--they came right back and played them off the park.
