Micah NEEDS to be fit for the next game, he seems to be a confidence player and right now he's on fire.

I agree as well! He was absolutely brilliant today. It was the Micah of old. All of a sudden his confidence is back and he can leap 6 ft in the air again and nothing was getting past him!

^^^^^THIS^^^^^^
On bridge, I thought the tackle looked as though he may have got a boot to the chest/face etc.... and was suprised to see him go off.... hopefully it's all good and that was just a precaution!!!

Hopefully neither got a serious injury, Micah was holding his kneee I think, so he's the one who worries me the most atm.

I thought Micah got hit in the plums by the ball, but when he got up, couldn't put pressure on the knee?

Yeah that's what I meant, I hope he didn't damage something in his knee when he dived to stop that shot...

When the trainer came out, he did a strength test on the ligaments of the knee, and immediately made the motion for a sub. Hope it's nothing too serious.
As for Bridge, to me it looked like a leg injury, like his groin got bent in a way it wasn't supposed too. Am I crazy, or did someone else see it that way too?

Confidence always plays a part but from a management coaching point of view the message has been made clear to him. He isn't an automatic choice so needs to work hard and concentrate even harder. He got dropped and did what every player should do and worked very hard in training got reselected and showed what he can do. He wasn't perfect today but the improvement and effort were really good to see.

I didnt see him make a mistake today - I could have been looking the other way if he did, but Im pretty sure he didnt. He supported SWP well down the right to keep Cole quiet and got forward (and back from being forward) regularly. Probably his best match that Ive seen him play this season (though I missed the Arsenal match this week)
I'm ALMOST (dare I say it?) starting to think our back four are... gelling. (there, I said it)

I thought both played great, although both make me panic sometimes!
Micah: When he strides forward he does these actions that kind of mean ''shit what do i do, come and get it?'' and then gives its to SWP whos usually crowded out by 3 players.
And Bridge: He seems to welly it forward, but towards the end of the game I was thinking that this is a good thing. He has such a powerful clearance on him that when we were under pressure he was basically putting it out to the other corner! Whereas pansy clearances would put us under pressure.
When they were both injured i shat it even more! Wondering how we'd miss them. Hope there both OK? Otherwise its Zaba and Silvinho? Was silvinho on the bench? POOR ned for giving the pen away!

Was thinking the exact same thing while watching the game earlier!

and his hair cuts, don't forget them!
glad he is doin well again, to read that he actually won headers again makes me proud! it was the most baffling thing of all, i cn accept shit form etc, but it seemed he had forgotton how to jump.
in summary, i said when we were drawing games that it is important what happens when the draws stop. so far so good.

Glad you said it.
I thought he did decent job defending yesterday but as always his passing and reading of the game was off. I don't want to slag him off but I have been defending him for ages but I am actually thinking that maybe his long term future is somewhere else. I mean yesterday when we got great passing football going on, his general clumsiness on the ball was sticking out like a sore thump.
Let's hope he'll ram that opinion down my throat.

SSN says Bridge has ligament damage and will be out 'for about 2 weeks'. Cant be too much damage then! Time for Sylvinho. Reckon he'll put Barry to LB though if he's fit.
That twat Belletti should've got a straight red for that.
Agree with NQDP on Micah.
