Streams, Previews & Streams (Bolton Away 09/10)

Postby Vhero » Fri Dec 11, 2009 11:57 am

Please leave all stream talk in this thread and not start another thread asking for a stream as people will post other streams in here nearer to kickoff if none of these work..
Please note if you insist on watching it through a browser I recommend you paying for a premium stream rather than free ones as they are too unreliable!
STREAMS WILL BE ADDED TO THIS THREAD 1-3 HOURS BEFORE KICKOFF!!

Starting early Vhero, i like the poll at the top but imo there is only one stream you should go for and thats the paid streams all ways reliable and ive been useing them for over a year now and no problems with them.

Early bird catches...well something the dirty git.

Use sopcast meself. never get shut down like the other free ones (iraqgoals etc)

have used paid streams before (liveonlinefooty) before but find them not much difference to the sopcast streams which are normally good pic and sound (when its english comms that is) and hardly any stopping and starting going on once its buffered.

look forward to the links :-D

I voted Sopcast, but also use TVU a lot. I sometimes go for Mediaplayer streams, but mostly when it's not City playing. Not being in the UK, I can't watch Justin TV streams (user limitations), which makes it slim pickings. They also tend to be quite unreliable.

But Sopcast and TVU (and sometime TVAnts) almost alwys do the trick for me.

I put multiple votes on so people can vote for 2 choices BTW and I put the poll as I thought there is no point in posting TVA links if nobody uses them or whatever.. I will also post more links for sopcast if they the most used..

I haven't had a stream on at home for ages, I use them when im stuck at work (like tomorrow), as our computers seem to pick them up now. BUT when i try downloading sopcast etc. it never works because im not admin, so i have to rely on iraqgoals etc. and usually theres never one working, or when you finally get it on it goes off every few minutes. Im convinced its do do with works computers and not the streams? As on the match thread you guys seem to have perfect streams every week.

liveonlinefooty.com now have browser streaming in their forum so you don't have to download the software so its perfect for work etc.. only for channels 1 and 2 though so if you have a liveonlinefooty.com subscription you can watch the game in your browser following this link http://www.liveonlinefooty.com/forum/sh ... .php?t=126 (added link to first post)

No they are there own private streams however they only show channel 1 and 2 through the browser which in fairness is about 70-80% of our matches but not all. Depends on the amount of matches and who's playing e.g. if there's a huge London derby on or something is less likely we will be on the flash player. You can check what channel it's on before the game. This is a new feature they added recently though and although I never used it people on the LO forum love it.

I will have streams like Vhero for the city vs bolton game tommorow and the other games.

By the way, If anyone is interested in downloading sopcast or using it here is a download for it-

download sopcast from here>>>> http://download.softpedia.com/dl/264418 ... -3.2.4.zip

unzip the downloaded file using winzip or winrar and install sopcast

now all you need to do is click on one of the sopcast links when they get posted and it will boot into sopcast....it takes about 20 secs for sopcast to connect and then it will start loading the channel....if the channel isnt braodcasting or offline it will say so, then simply select a different sopcast link to try....if it continues to buffer (Check bottom right corner of sopcast viewing screen for buffer) then it should start playing within 30 secs or so

America has two pay footy channels really, Setanta US and Fox Soccer Channel, for City games on Setanta I use Sopcast, but if I know a game is on FSC, I use Veetle. Go to www.veetle.com to download, I'd really recommended it. Download takes less than a minute, and the picture quality is very good 99% of the time.

^City game will be on there tomorrow.

Cheers Vhero, shame that you feel you have to get in early now after your months of great service. Your threads were a mainstay of the site, up there with chinners' bollox.

keep doing them.

BBL, when you know that Vhero provides us all with links for streams, why do you feel the need to do this also?? I can't help but think that it is nothing but a plea for attention.

I have to say, your services are not required
