Its done.
Some of us are raw, I've had messages from the most anti hughes folk saying it lacked class.
BUT... its done.
Please, please please.... let us start this new dawn like we started the last after the takeover.
Khaldoon just begged that the fans respect the decision....
Don't argue, its a new dawn.... its a new day.....
Diss me for starting a new thread on this by all means and I'm a little drunk and a little overwhelmed at the min, but now is most definitely not the time to argue.
The BIG thing is NOBODY has anything against the new manager and we of all of fans should realise what a good starting point that is.

fully agree! I am really excited now, I feel sorry for mark a little but really want to move forward and go on from here!

The arguments won't be like the previous ones. Most discussions are about the way it has been done. I don't think we are likely to see the phrase "Mancini lickers" any time soon

I agree Dub...The decision has been taken and the execution has taken place. No matter what we may argue on here, we cannot now change that. Eventually, the Mark Hughes era will be consigned to history and simply become another story in Manchester City's long life.
For the next few days...weeks(?)...our club will be subjected to the ravages and attacks of the media. Having the opportunity to vilify us will please them immensly and they will take full advantage.

Fuck the press, fuck the radio phone-ins , fuck sky sports (who have slated Hughes for weeks and now say we have no class) fuck everybody that does not suppport Manchester City City FC.
The results this season have not been good enough for the amount of invsetment. Hughes had to go simple as that. Good riddance. Lets move on. I personally cannot be arsed or concerned with sentimentality. Hughes will be well compensated so do not worry about how he will pay his mortgage, he will not be arsed about how i pay mine.
