Defensive Coaches?

Postby King Kev » Sat Dec 19, 2009 10:37 pm

With our defense being absoloute shite this season I really hope our new manager has a decent defensive coach.

27 goals conceded in 17 games, including 9 in the last 3 is relegation form. I'd like if the knob-heads who stand there watching the ball sail over thier heads in our penalty area can be coached into being decent footballers.

Good point. They were decent players until they came to City!

I hope we get this defence sorted ASAP as our attack is doing well. The italians are known for it! However some posters are posting shit for the fun of it!

Scoring is not the problem. We are just letting them in for fun and that needs to stop. If we stop conceding we will keep winning. Thats how i see it.

When we score more than we concede we usually win. I've noticed that.

Mancini was a 'cultured' type of player, himself, from what I remember of Ch 4 Italian fotball coverage; the kind that always had plenty of time on the ball.
So, he should like to play football although he will surely want to sort-out the bombsite that is our 'defence'

YOURE BEING VERY NEGATIVE.

THATS NOT THE SPIRIT IS IT?---WE HAVE JUST GAINED A MANAGER THAT HAS WON PLENTY IN HIS MANAGERIAL CAREER...YOU SHOULD REJOICE AND EMBRACE.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I hope Mancho will bring in at least one tough Italian defender to the club. The one who can command the area is desperatly needed here.
