Where next for Hughes?

Postby ian494 » Sun Dec 20, 2009 12:38 pm

Anyone want to hazard a guess at the next project for Hughes?

I reckon Everton could be his next appointment, or Newcastle.

How do you think he will do at his next job?

I don't see Everton sacking Moyes. Newcastle are doing well, so can't see them doing it either.

No idea really, it'll be a stepdown from us whoever it is.

Probably sat somewhere with a Mancini voodoo doll, if Roberto manages to whip the team into shape this season Hughes will look a bit stupid

Mark, you may be right.

But if he is the best young British manager, then I expect a few worried Premiership managers at the moment.

If he doesn't get picked up by a big team, then maybe it will say a lot about his percieved potential, and the expectations of him.

Bolton will prob need a new manager soon so he could go there but will face the same fans problem there as he did at us.

With regards to his pay off i recon 2 million quid. He still had 18 months left on his contract. however much it is i am sure he will spend it wisley :)

I'm actually more intrigued by who the next manager to get the chop will be....

Megson, Phil Brown, Benitez?

Only way Moyes will go is if he walks IMO

This isn't beyond the realms of possibility. They need good players and noone spots em like Leslie.

I'd imagine he'll take his time, manage a Wigan type side in the prem and if he gets them to Europe for a couple of seasons, could well end up at the swamp.

Its either him, Moyes, O'niell or Bruce IMO.

He should get a job as a characteture artist, of course everyone would be stick figures cause Hughes only know how to draw matches.

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.
