i thought this too, a good run as all the players put a bit of effort in to impress the new guy and just before we play the scum too that'll be a nice "CIAO" to fergie and he only has to win three games and he'll be the guy who won us our first trophy in 30 years lol

The players will look to make a good first impression on the new manager and i can see this one being a cracker!

I would love us to whip up a batch of wins now and sit in top 4 looking pretty.

The players will surely want to impress, and if Mancini is wise he won't change too much the system with just few days before the next match as that would be potentially dangerous, he will look to change is gradually, especially the back four organisation and cover from the midfield.

big injury/africa cup issues though.

we eneded the game yesterday without (for one reason or another): swp, lescott, robinho, adebayor, bridge, de jong and richards. some squad we have, because it was still a powerful (on paper) team at the end. going into the new year:

defence: given, richards, bridge (maybe not), onuoha, kompany, sylvinho (i know, i know).

midfield: swp, ireland, de jong, barry, petrov, weiss, bellamy

forward: santa cruz, tevez, roller skater (benjani)

enough to get to the cc final?

This is something I am looking forward to.

You know, the one where the existing players develop a new lease of life to impress the new guy ..... and the team has a phonomenal set of results for the first 10 games or so.

If what we did under KK, Psycho and Sven is something to go by ..... bring it on!
