BELLERS: A sensible point raised

Good afternoon...apologies if this may have been covered elsewhere.

In your opinion...Could Bellamy be better for us with regular appearances off the bench as an impact player?...This bearing in mind we know his knees are shot and even he has said that he'll be lucky to be playing in 2 years.

This as alternative to him maybe playing two, missing three?

no, i think he should be starting in as many games as he can manage. been our best player this year and does more for the team in that position than anyone else.

I don't actually think he is that good as an impact player. Can't remember when it has worked well like that.No problem with him not starting today though as I think he will be earmarked for the Wolves game as a starter.Hope so anyway.

I fully agree Mike, but could he have a better impact (apologies for that word again) in the long run, playing in every game, in some manner, rather than sporadically.

His amount of surgeries shows his time is limited, but he is the type of striker whose
best qualities are his concentration, constant attack and all out play. Mancini would
do best to keep him in as he is playing his best ball and I doubt he will improve.

God he is a live wire and can be a pain in the ass sometimes!!

I am hoping he got a leg stretch subs appearance today so he can start on Monday. Player of the season so far and we'd get better mileage out of him starting than coming on. However Tevez, Petrov and Bellamy have all made good impacts off the bench so I think it's more the quality of the 16...umm, 18, than the fact they are an impact player.

I have been so keen to see Robinho off the left - more central - but what a let down = hope he clicks!!

Bellers must have been sitting there thinking WTF!!

You have to remember that Robbie has hardly played this season due to injuries, so it will take a while for him to get back to full match fitness.

I would have thought Bellamy was being rested for the Wolves match. There's no way on earth Bellamy could play 2 matches in 3 days so it's better to play Robbie at home to Stoke and Bellers away (on a Monday night) at Wolves.

listened to the woman beater on talk shit earlier who reckoned Mancini had put the first nail is his coffin by playing Robinho rather than Bellamy. Thankfully the first City fan on pointed out that Bellamy can't play 2 games a week anymore and he would be needed more for the wolves game. Once he'd be cut off, cuntymore said 'come on city fans, nail your colours to the mast - Robinho or Bellamy'. I thought he just sounded thick because of his accent, but it turns out it's because he is. Cock.

I think bellamy will start on monday, be rested against boro and be back for the semi. And bellamy is my player of the season so far, which has suprised me as I really didn't want him here.

I'd prefer Bellers on from the start, but as shown today, Petters was well worth his place and did a very good job imo.

Collywobble is as thick as pigshit, and a cunt. I immediately switch the wife-beater off when ever I hear him.

I had to tonight after a decent Blue called him out and stated that Bellers didn't give way to Robbie, but to Petters. Stella Artois then argued that it will be at the Wolves game whuch the Blue then called him on it again. He then realised that the Blue actually didn't fit in with his plans and as usual, cut him off. That is the point that I could bare him no more and gladly switched the station.

Absolute tool!!!

Excellent points, lets give Robbie teh benefit of doubt, if he is still underperforming next month then maybe, but he has been out a long time and players don't tend to come straight back.

I would expect Bellamy to start against Wolves, and even if Robbie doesn't, it doesn't mean Mancini doesn't rate him. We have a big squad with many quality players, all cannot always start.

Craigs best production for us has always been when he has been on from the start.

Im sure he will be back at Wolves and maybe even Santa too. I would expect one or both of Robinho and Petrov to drop out. Probably Robinho. We cant carry 2 who dont want to tackle away from home.

What he said - spot on.

Mancini picked a team to win todays game, with upcoming games in mind. Bellamy will come in for the Wolves game as he offers more when we dont have the ball - it isnt rocket science, and I would suggest too Santa Cruz also comes in and as Grob has said, Robinho and Rigsby drop out.

Problem is, the truth gets in the way of the agenda of sensationalists like Collymore who shouts a lot, but actually has nothing to say worth listening too - just like White Van Man radio really.
