Mark who?

2 games in and do far Mancini is everything that Hughes was not, tactically astute and more than willing to change things around if it is needed regardless of whether the clock has ticked over to 65 mins

If we win our game in hand and those at the top drop points along the way, anything's possible. But let's get fourth first, and then see game by game what can be achieved. For this season a cup or two and a CL spot will make me happy.

The most impressive thing for me is the way Mancini can see what needs changing and does it. This is what seperates the greats from the averages. Not sure about zonal marking at set pieces, I still like picking a man and if he scores then it's your fault. Could have had another 3 goals easy today.

I didnt want that game to end! What a quality game to watch and a wonderful performance by City!

The defense was solid all around the pitch today. Zonal marking and just about everything else. Quality to see and two clean sheets in two games!

Nigel de Jong was superb again flying in with the blocks and tackled and he supported the defense and midfield brilliantly.

Ireland and barry were great also supporting the front 3 and covering the full backs.

Petrov, Bellers and tevez were quality tonight! They ran their socks off! They were creative, We were electric on the break and one great move in the match when we played one touch football involving petrov and bellers and tevez was very unlucky.

What a great performance and Bellamy was man of the match and a great interview with him and Kolo then.

And a special mention for Robinho! He set one of the goals up and was running everywhere when he came on. That is the Robinho that i and everyone else on here want to see.

I am looking forward to match of the day already!

I LOVE YOU CITY AND WHAT A GREAT PERFORMANCE!!

We'll have 2 more just like him in the transfer window please !!

On the window we ONLY need an High jumping and possibly fast coverer CENTER BACK.

Next on summer when mission accomplished and all the potentiality had been fully tested.

What a fucking game, could have been 5 but a win is a win. The whole team played as one tonight. Well pleased 2 clean sheets and 5 goals, game in hand life is good.

Really enjoyed that, some brilliant play and passes. A couple of nervy moments and they gave all they had especially in the first twenty minutes. The 30 or so passes stringed together in the early second hald were a joy to watch. TEVEZ - What a fucking player, 8 in 7 WOW.

2 Clean sheets, five goals to the good and how nice to see Spanish Gaz score a cracker of a free kick.

MINT

Craig Bellamy post match interview

"Nothing suprises you in this game ....I have a great affection for Mark Hughes but at the end of the day it is the nature of the business, its the game you gotta carry on if you want to be part of man city you have to raise your performnce because we are a club thats goin places..... and I want to be a part of it as long as I can"

That should put that story to bed I think

The games are obviously not as tough, however getting the teams' head right to play the lesser lights of the premier league has been a problem and now three wins on the trot might actually breed a little consistency.
