My personal opinion is that Robinho has had enough time to prove he is good enough in a sky blue shirt and I think he has failed miserably

Yes the guy is skillful...but skillful like the half time ball jugglers who play fancy keepy uppy

REALLY REALLY needs a goal, and i think the confidence will flow back and he will remember who he is meant to be.

At the moment though I fully support the policy of playing him in home games, and a late sub in away games. Rotating with Bellamy to keep Bellers fresh.

Would the owners lose face by selling him at a loss? I doubt they would countenance that so would anyone currently value him at what we paid for him and if they did meet our valuation could anyone afford him? Possibly only Chelsea who have already said they are not buying in January.

So putting him on the market now would be silly. Moreover he has a lot to offer, give Mancini a chance to get that out of him. If come the summer he has had a few games in the sunshine and is still not cutting it then have another look but now is the season for panic buying and panic selling and we are not in that position.

If you base your assessment on his performance against Stoke you would get rid but as cameos go his performance against Wolves was pretty good. Lets see how he is getting on once he has spent 6 months with Mancini but for now a very definite KEEP.

Ok why dont we just sell the rest of the team aswell then , of course Robson is a keeper stupid thread .

Robinho is a top quality, world class player. If Superman had not been so fantastic last season, Robby would have been a main contender for player of the season. His skill is without question. His commitment may be a different story, but give him a few weeks with Mancini and I'm sure that we'll see that Robinhos' problem is not Manchester and not Manchester City, but his problem was Mark Hughes. Now we have a manager who will play him to his strenghts and not seem intent on exploiting his weaknesses, we'll see the world class Robinho of the beginning of last season.......the player that single handedly destroyed Stoke and scored THAT goal against Arsenal.

I have to say, I am sick and tired of seeing constant negative headlines about him. Only this morning the Mirror spun our win, starting with the line....'Dropping Robinho proves to be a masterstroke'. It's like they're blaming him for a loss that didn't even happen........... and it's not just that scum rag that's at it, everyone is having a pop. Name another player in the Prem who has to put up with such scrutiny.

I voted to keep Robinho without a seconds hesitation because he is clearly a world class player. Now we have a world class manager who seems to have a plan A, B, C & D....then I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of Robinho in a City shirt and not just looking pissed off on the bench. And so we should.

That's what puzzles me. He has been very good in front of goal for us, yet some people call him useless.

He may not be the most active player in the world but can make things happen when we need a goal out of nowhere. He has two assists in past two games as well.

Definite yes from me. It seems Some people would prefer 11 Vassel's. Oh and topic like this from someone who questioned whether we had become spoiled just the other week.

In short yes. We can afford such luxuries.

You've never seen him win a tackle? So what? He's there to create and score goals which he has already proven he can do. That's what he should be in the team for. I would no more ask Robinho to get stuck into tackles than I would ask Nigel De Jong to pile into the box at every opportunity to score. Players should be played to their strengths and Robinhos strength is as a technically gifted, world class, attacking player. If he can't tackle, why insist that he does so?

Definitely keep but with the proviso that he has to accept he'll be part of a squad & not a prefferred starter. Some games will suit him, some not. In the games that do suit him, I want to see a higher percentage of 'world class' performances. Not just as a moderate goalscorer, if we want a goalscorer that does fuck all else we can sign one that scores more than him, I want goals, assists, passion & effort or my vote will turn to 'sell' at the end of the season. No more excuses.

Without even thinking, the answer is yes. As was shown last night, his very presence on the pitch can change the flow of a game. Although we were 2 up Wolves were still pressing our defence, however as soon as he came on the balance changed and we were back on the front foot. His vision and passing, even when slipping and drawing 2 players out of position, allowed Carlos to score the 3rd.

The bloke oozes class and as soon as he is back to full fitness, after a long time out, not being played regularly and under a manager that wants players of his quality, then we should see why we payed so much money for him.

Can't help thinking that it seems like his time at City is going exactly as it did in Madrid...he got benched there and look what happened...I get the feeling it will be groundhog day soon enough
