Roque Santa Cruz [merged]

In the absence of any news on Rocky and his injury, I have raided that well-known source 'ultimahora.com', from Paraguay. As Bobby Manc is looking forward to playing him, the Liverpool rumour is clearly bollox, but it looks like he MIGHT be ready for next Wednesday:
The speculation is rubbish. RSC roundly dismissed yesterday that he was going to leave City and confirmed his omission from the first team was solely due to a spasm in the right calf.
The Paraguay forward confirmed yesterday to Radio 970 AM "I dont know about any interest or competition for me from other teams". He also said "when they told me that it had been printed in some media, they told me in which ones, and it's simply not true" he insisted.
INJURY CLAIM. Roque emphasises that this was only published in the Paraguay dailies, and he was was only left out of the side because he felt a shooting pain (?) in the right calf one day before the Stoke match. "Today (day of the Wolves game) I'm not going to play either, because I'm recovering from that injury and will need to rest at least a week" he indicated.
"There is no truth about what was published in the Paraguay dailies" he continued, mentioning also that nothing was published about his supposed move to Liverpool.
ENGLISH MEDIA. However, the English daily The Mirror (spit) in it's digital version, published on Xmas day: 'The Liverpool boss, Rafa Benitez, has recieved the green light for 2 new players. On the list are Emile Heskey, Kenwyne Jones and RSC.' Various dailies published the same, so it cant be an invention (Hahahahahahahahahaha).

It did all seem to be a bit hush hush, I expected him to play vs Stoke after his efforts aainst Sunderland when he never stopped running for 90 mins. So I was surprised, maybe 2 games in quick succession is still a bit too much, or he overdid it in training trying to impress Mancio.

To be truthful, 2 games a season seems to be his limit...

Good on you for slagging off man city players, especially one that has contributed so much to the win over Sunderland only the other day.
Nasty.
Hey KK, may as well let the rags onto this site, we're already dealing with shit like this.

Yeah leave him alone - he's trying his heart out for the Blues and could be crucial in January.
Plus my girlfriend says he is "better looking than most City players" so there...

trying his heart out? I mean, I don't wish to slag the feller off but so far he has hardly played for us.
And missus doing estimations of which City player is best looking is not completely unheard of in our household either, but I still wouldn't want David James back.

When his competition is Kompany, Tevez and Lescott it's hardly like winning Miss Universe is it?

David James looks like one of those freaks from Monsters of Cock where you think they look like a street urchin and then they whip out a 12 inch python and start slamming some blonde honey.
cheers

Yeah - my hope is that when Ade comes back he has to earn his place back in because we are doing so well - that way we might get the August version back
