I Need To Put A Bet On Us Getting To The FA Cup Final

Postby King Kev » Sun Jan 03, 2010 7:28 pm

Does anybody know of a bookie where I can put a bet on us to get to the final (rather than an each-way bet to win it)?

I have stupidly booked a holiday which means I will be out of the country when the final is on so want to put a bet on so that the winnings will pay for me to come back for it :o)

Can you not go on betfair and find some (probably rag would be best) mug who will offer you a silly price, as the each way odds are shocking.

If I put a £50 each-way on us winning the cup, only £25 of it goes on us getting to the final (the other £25 goes on us winning the cup).

If I put a £50 bet on us getting to the final the full £50 goes on us making the final.

city are only 7/1 to win it, so if you back each way, if we get to final you would end up winning just

Had a look on oddschecker and olbg and can't find this market. I reckon an E/W bet is as close as you'll get. We're pretty skinny at 7/1, though.

Back City win only [ suggest Betfair] then if we get to the final you back half on the other team - which unless I am mistaken [ been a long day ] means you have effectively bet on us getting to t'final

better still, back us each way at best price available with a bookie then lay off the win bet on betfair when the price has gone down a few points...
