I hope its 6 month with a further 12 months option that we can take up if we want.

Other than that, its fucking frightening. Totally underwhelmed by this move.

I thought it'd be a six month loan deal, which I would've been more than OK with. 140K a week for 18 months (if true) is simply ludicrous.

exactly what im thinking. plus he is moving because he wants to play as its world cup year. he would not be joining if he wasnt given assurances about playing.

i think this is really stupid, he is no where near the player he once was. i thought we were past those days of signing over the hill players. its not the money that bothers me, its the length of that contract.

Now this is what I want to read. Methinks Balotelli may be in the frame after my Italian club disgraced themselves last night with their racist chants. pah!

He's landed on his feckin feet there hasn't he, pulling £140K a week at his age. This will go down as one of the most un-inspiring signings of the window and i feel City are being taken advantage of because of our wealth by agents and players alike. We need to toughen up and put our foot down with regards players wages & transfer fees and cease to be seen as a soft touch.
I seriously don't have a problem in spending big to catch up with the 'big four' but i'd happily see City spend 'silly' money on players at their peak and in their prime but not for 30-odd year old has-beens.

Cook and Co went to Milan to sign a top drawer, experienced-but-not-yet-in-his-prime centre back, left back or right back. Instead he bottled it and came back with Vieira.
