personally i think thats fucking madness if it is true.

I think it fucking madness aswell.

Imagine if Hughes had done it? Fuck me it would be suicide watch on here.

Yeah, Imagine if Mancini had spent 17m on striker who has had one decent season in all his career and chronically injured and given him four year contract worth 100k/w?? Fuck me, would have to wear umbrella because of all the Hughes fanatics jumping off buildings.

I really don't think he'll be getting £140k a week.
Maybe that could be his top line depending on win bonus', clean sheet bonus', and full game bonus'.

At the end of the day we are well and truely short at the back. Kompo has been playing midfield until the last couple of games and he needs to play at CB full time for the forseeable future. Who knows, maybe Mancio thinks he's a CB rather than a CM and wants another DM as cover for De Jong.

I reckon its a good move for short term and maybe long term as I'm sure he'll help Nige out too. and them wage figures are bollocks IMO.

So let me get this straight... we offer him the perfect platform for him to get a place in the last world cup he will ever be able to play... and we pay him 140k a week for that?

I hope he will prove that he is worth this amount of money.

Personally I think Vieira signing at this stage IS right move. That has fucl all to do with who is in charge. We need someone in squad who has experience of winning things. As ridiculous as it might sound to you, winning competitions is something you need experience of as well. Vieira will be massive influence on dressing room in situations like say Carling Cup semi at Swamp.

I've seen Vieira about seven eight times in past few years and he has every single time been rock solid. His knee injuries worry me little bit as well but I can assure you, he will still start more games than RSC.

No proof of contract/wages honestly you really think the club ever release the true wages? On the signing him bit I hope he does well for us.

Ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A rag at work has just said (whilst laughing) ''And you'll be losing him straight away to go the African Nations Cup''

Just coz he's black he assumed he's African!! They're fuckin unreal aren't they? So knowledgable about all things football.

He is now the laughing stock of the office when it was pointed out he's French. Quality.

And honestly, who cares? We are not planning to break even in next 18 months so his wages means nothing.

Brilliant!

You couldn't make it up! He has European Championship winners medal, World Cup winners medal, been runner up in World Cup and this feller thinks he is African!

According to the MEN this morning it's a 6 month loan deal with the option of 12 months if we want to take it, the wage might be right as he's on 100k a week at Milan

I think we're gonna see even more wage inflation with the 50% tax coming in soon.

Will be gutted if its an 18 month contract.

Lots of confusion over contract length, just like when Mancio came!

will everyone just chill out!
the facts are:-

we are rich bitch
Vieira is a good player
Its a short contract
He has vast experience
He understands Mancini and can relay Mancini's thought to the team
He had a fight with dirty K*ane

There are NO risks here! We cant go and spend £20m+ on every player! In terms of 'knowing the League' tell me of another player (available in January) that we could get for 18 months for this amount of money (dont forget most other players would cost a fee plus wages).

Why do we ALWAYS have to complain complain complain!
Everyone has been banging on about how they trust Mancini, well this is his buy, so TRUSSSSSSSSSSSSST in him
