Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this is a bit of a crap signing.

See those two red stripes? That's LAHAD on the front and Wonderbob on the back!

What are you going on about.

Im allowed an opinion on a signing, fuck it i cant be arsed.

Come on mate, I was just having a laugh.

Edit. And by red I most certainly don't refer to rags but blood!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Ha ha, I know but being half right doesn't count. If they gave me positive marks for all the answers that were half right on my exam papers i'd have a Phd now. ;-)

why would it be a loan deal if his contract is about to expire at INTER?!?!? who would w be loaning him off after this season?

You're right...I read it wrong Olly...it's a six month deal with the option of another 12...

a lot of twitch effers here.
If rumours are true we are in competition with Barca. We should not have told him "take it or leave it".
His Italian salary has effectively "gone up" in Sterling by what 30% since Black Blackday.
140k GBP is no longer 200 plus k euro. Don't know what he's on in Milan, but he was after 180k from Real back in the day, and that was a show stopper, because...
he has been one of the world's best.
And it looks like our man thinks he's still got it (and if its a transfer not a loan and its free then hey ho).
Why do we find it Sooo hard to support ANY of our managers???

and for the doubters, think Ali B, 33.
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

its not complaining mate. its just an opinion on a signing. one of which i find a bit underwhelming. hopefully it'll be shrewd by mancini.

Its opinions though isnt it,Lots were slamming Bellers signing and prooved very wrong.
Many people now have a view on patty signing, which were allowed we dont have to back every decision a manager makes because he is our manager, time will tell if this prooves to be shrewd.

Whoa, thats a fair bit of dosh.

I guess Roberto knows what he is doing.

I'm not a great admirer of Vieira but he left Inter Milan yesterday playing an excellent game in central midfield. We'll be without Johnno for the rest of this season, we also need a good replacement of Barry or de Jong and Mancio thinks about Vinnie he's a great defender, not a midfielder at all! And, last but not least, Vieira could be a very good teacher during the week for all our young Academy lads.
What's the problem if we have we a lot of money to spend?

I know there is an age difference, but I remember these sort of reactions to signing Craig Bellamy due to his fitness.

I think some people just want something to moan about...excellent signing...initially only for 6 months so if the moaners are right it's hardly the end of the world...Patrick has won everything so he will also be invaluable in the dressing room

Complete win all round IMO

Any signing that can pass on that winning mentality is fine by me.

Balotelli? :D

Anyway if it is really 18 months on 140k a week then I'm not so sure about this being a good move. A loan, or six months with the option for another 12, and a lower wage, then yes, but if it is like rumoured...mmmh...
