Right! Enough's Enough!

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Right! Enough's Enough!

Postby OliverHardy » Fri Jan 08, 2010 9:13 am

Im not having this anymore
Listening to TalkSHIT at the moment, the discssion is about Vieira and how he will not be able to handle t-heo fast moving Prem as he is 33. So how old are Sch*les and G*ggs who have both been handed new one year deals at the swamp. Why are no other 33 year old+ players taking a rinsing!!!

Why wont they leave my club alone!!

Just do what I do, sit and wait patiently, and then rub your hands together with jow and watch as the media start to backtrack and hail him as one of the bargains of the season!

It's all cliches isn't it?

'Too old at 33'
'Owners will choose the players'
'All players want Champions League football this season' (the biggest bollox of all)
'City wont get players to sign for them'

One idiot journo says things and it keeps these twats going for weeks.

Ring them up Ollie, ring 'em up!

The other thing they said was "with all the money City have why are they taking a 33 year old on a free?"
So we get rimmed for spending 20M plus on every player and now we arent we are getting double rimmed for not doing!
we are damned if we do and damned if we dont!

a year and a half on and the denial still from other fans around the prem is shocking!

fact is we are firstly: well run now and secondly: loaded. to any other club vieira would be a big gamble. to us it's nothing. no issue.

people have to wake up and realise we aren't little old city anymore. we can sign old pros like vieira on big deals and it won't hurt us one jot.

it'll only strengthen us.

Probably trying to use himself as example, playing is northern counties lower premier super league third division himself.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

For my sins i strayed on to white van mad radio this morning whilst dropping my daughter off at Nursery and heard some of Lomas's inspired analysis. He then went on to state Scott Parker has been the best midfielder in the Premier League this seaso ...... has he really Steve, really? Hmm, stay off the drugs.

I seem to remember when a Vieira return to Arsenal was mooted 4-5 months ago it was generally thought of as an inspired move by Wenger; now apparently he's already in the knackers yard.

Who cares what his contract is, we are effin wadded so money is nowt to us. Worth the gamble as the guys forgotten more about trophy winning and success than all this twit journo's and no marks queueing up to have yet another dig at us. Exactly how many medals did you win Mr Lomas? A player not fit to lick the shit from the sole of Vieira's boots.
