Gentlemans agreement between..

...City and Real Madrid over the signing of players.

You keep off my toes and i'll keep off yours kinda thing, not a bad move from the club imo.

Not sure why the sheikh wants to have a bit of Real though. City's feeder club maybe, lol.

Probably what we were really talking to them about last week then not trying to buy them out in reality.

I think this sort of thing is why we've been meeting Barca and AC as well to 'build bridges', as well as this Platini business. But then again sometimes Balague's musings turn out to be complete shite.

True, Balague who once upon a time could be counted as a trusted source has really dipped in reliabilty in the past year. Some of his musings i'd class as "the sun" esk gossiping these days.

would make sense though, especially on their behalf, as if there is a player we both like, they know we will drive the price through the roof and they cannot afford it after the last 12 months spending spree.

It's good to confirm we are moving in the right circles, so to speak, so that everyone can tell Platini to fuck off from the same hymn sheet. All these mega-rich blokes seem to be pals, and I get the feeling that Abramovich and the Sheik 'have understandings' in some ways against the evil red axis of pauper-owners.
