Jeff Stelling just said Ade on a flight out, but the club don't know where he's headed just yet

I wonder where we would stand with regards to playing Ade, if he has left the tournament, but the Country remain and participate?

The whole team has pulled out. I guess all their games will be awarded 3-0

The team have said they are pulling out. Now the Angolan government and tournament organisers are trying to get them to change their minds. What do they expect? Its not like teh Togo team would be able to focus even if they were to play. Trying to get the to change thier minds seems pretty heartless to me.

Just out of interest, does anyone know what happened to the gunmen? The players have said they were under attack for 20-30 mins, then what? did they run out of bullets and leave, were they driven off in a firefight with police, are they dead? I haven't seen any mention

JOHBURG HAS AROUND 70% OF ALL CRIME IN S.A.............SO 30% SPREAD AROUND A ZILLION HACTARES ISNT THAT BAD.

So if 70% of all SA crime is in one city, and SA has the second highest murder rate in the world, Johanesburg must be one of the most dangerous places in the world. Good place to hold a number of games, including the final then. I hope Blatter is right, and if not, I hope he is still willing to take full responsibility for his decision - as he is so proud to do at the moment

Seems like the Togo government wanted the team out of the tournament but the team decided to stay and play for those who were killed.

I thought Fifa didn't like governments getting involved with association business, and have threatened countries in the past. Due to the scenario, they may let this one slide?

President of Togo has ordered them to come home according to talksport. Mind you if they have as much respect for him as we have for ours then it won't matter a jot what he says.

I don't see how they can stay on, at least not in that area. According to the radio, Cabinda separatist militia Flec has taken responsabilitiy for the ambush and warned that there will be more attacks if the Angolans don't move the games that are planned to be played in Cabinda. I would imagine Ade and the others are quite scared and now there is a threat they could be attacked again, they should get the f**k out of there.
