Caicedo To Malaga

SkySports are reporting that City have agreed a deal to sell Big Fil to Malaga.

I don;t think we ever really saw the best of him but it seems pretty obvious that he will have fallen quite a way down the pecking order so I suppose he had to go.

Sell? I thought he was going on loan there?

he has been removed of the OS however and all the other players that are out on loan on there just have a star next to there name.

Turns out the Caicedo deal is just a loan until the end of the season.

Don't seem totally cut and dried yet:

Meanwhile, Mancini is weighing up the possibility of drafting Felipe Caicedo back into his injury-hit squad after Sporting Lisbon decided against a permanent deal for the striker.

The 21-year-old Ecuador international was loaned out in the summer and is now interesting Spanish side Malaga and Hull, against whom he scored twice in last season's 5-1 home win.

City's boss said: "I don't know his situation too well. But it is possible that he comes back and stays. We have many strikers but I would like to see him. I will not necessarily send him back out. We might want to keep him."

from the OS.

This is all done in the other Caicedo threads in the last week mate.

Sporting got fed up with him cos he aint good enough. He got fed up with Sporting cos he wasn't then playing. Switch loan to Malaga or Hull. Hmm let me think about that choice?!?!

Now a mention on the OS about the deal with Malaga. A six month loan and they have option to buy him in the summer.
Good luck Felipe!
