Team v Blackburn

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Team v Blackburn

Win the match and we go 4th. Come on City this is the time to build on the season so far and deliver results to back up the messages of belief coming out of the Club about desire for success.

IMO the team v Blackburn will be

Given
Zabaleta Richards Kompany Garrido
SWP De Jong Barry Petrov
Tevez Robinho

Working on basis of SWP being fit. If Vieira is fit to play I would bring him on for the last 30 minutes. Keep Bellamy fresh for Everton away where he could replace Robinho.

I'd prefer Bellamy to start and give Robinho a run out later but otherwise I'd agree with the starting 11.

I will go with the OP team, and maybe, probably, most likely if Robbies and tad under par then Mancini will bring Bellers on. Also would like to hope Patrick is fit (are ya Pat in yer Orange shorts?) see him have a run out from the bench.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

The two most important things are for this game to be on and for us to win it. We need to build up a head of steam and capitalise and the winning momentum Manicini has brought to the team.

Let's hope this is the game where we score a lot of goals and win convincingly. Get into 4th place and start kicking ass.

That'd be my team as well, but with SWP for Ireland if fully fit.

On a side note. THE LUXURY PROBLEMS WE HAVE NOW ARE FUCKING AMAZING! We have plenty of players injured, and two are away for the African Cup of Nations. And still we have the luxury to discuss which - out of a bunch of top classs players - are in form and should play and in which postition.

The changes over the last two seasons still haven't really caught up with me. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure it's real.

He mentioned that one of the reasons he signed Vieira is because he's tall. He therefore seems to realise we're unbalanced height wise (which MH had me bemused about why he didn't act on it last season) so it's just possible, as we're playing Blackburn, he may decide to start Vieira or RSC if fit.

I'd like to see Bellamy rested & Robbie start. Change it if Robbie's shite.

I agree, we are living in amazing times. We are on the brink of domestic success. Europe beckons.

Been a fan since 1965, season ticket holder from 1980. How will we cope if we start to win things and sign even more and better players.

Thank you Sheik Mansoor for choosing City. Long may you continue to build, maintain and enjoy the fruits of your support and investment at City.
