Surely you don't mean Jo?

I would have thought that a hinderance

to be fair it was the most inspired piece of loan based sabotage ever

i dont think we realised how well it would go at the time

Maybe but we didn't know that at the time.

As for lending Hart to Birmingham, well that decision might just cost us a top 6 place.

You really think we will struggle to get a top 6 spot?

Might be a swop deal for Torres

As for loaning him to Liverpool....it would make no sense at all. Selling him makes no sense but a loan deal would be "madder than Mad Jack McMad, the winner of this year's Mr Madman competition"

Lol..Thats brilliant1

WELL WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IF HE,S ON SOMEONE ELSES TREATMENT BOARD?????

SORRY BUT IT WOULD NOT BOTHER ME ONE BIT IF HE WAS SOLD OR LOANED......HE,S ACTUALLY A BIG DISSAPOINTMENT IMO AS I HONESTLY THOUGHT HE WOULD BE A BIG STAR FOR US ONE DAY..........BUT THATS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN AS HE IS INJURY PRONE AND HE ISNT A FIRST CHOICE PLAYER FOR WHERE WE WANT TO GO.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

The article is a case of wishful thinking perhaps.

no chance, the only thing that will cost us a top 6 place is playing shit football and getting beat.

no point getting excuses in already.
I hope you're right.

Regardless, lending players to your opposition is fuclin stupid IMO.

Considering the options at the beginning of the season - wouldnt you agree lending him to brum appeared the most intelligent?

To be honest mate, no.

I rate Hart very highly and, whilst I understand him wanting 1st team football and us not wanting to sell him, I believed then and still believe now that you should never loan a player to a team in the same league as yourselves.

and therein is the problem?

Hart is very very good and if managed well could be truly great - it is unlikely that he would have warmed a bench when he could be maximising his potential and development at somewhere like Birmingham

I think the options were

Job share Shay and Joe

Keep him on the bench and wait for a transfer request

Keep him and lose/dont sign Shay

Loan him to a prem club that will help him develop -

Sell him -

Are there any others - perhaps a loan abroad or to a championship club - but that wouldnt help his England chance

Sometimes there isnt a perfect solution when you want to take the club and a young players ambition into account - what would you have done instead?
