In Cheadle and we've had light rain and sleet but as of yet we've had no snow... but with temps dropping into the night time I wouldnt be surprised if this rain and sleet turns into snow during the early hours.......

It looked to be ok but its snowing again now!

Went past ground on my way back to my flat in Manchester.

Light rain, and it's 2 degrees above zero with a steady thaw. Game will go ahead in my opinion. Last 24 hours made all the difference. Pavements are icy, but that's about it. Weather forecasts were bad, but have been revised and thaw expected to continue / accelerate.

There's very little ice / snow left in the City Centre - but they had a lot more salt and grit down.

Was snowing in Derbyshire when I set off, but by time got to Stockport was rain. People outside Mcr in the country might think it's really bad, but Mcr is fine. Pavements are icy, but with another 24 hours thaw, they'll be much better

Been worrying about the game getting called off for a while, but I am not now.

Having settled that in my mind, I just hope fans from a few miles away aren't put off about going to the game by what they have seen on the TV. Looks like there are loads of Tickets left, and it's a really big game for City. Chance to go 4th, and maybe Vieira's debut

Although it's forecast for sleet most of tomorrow the temperature doesn't (supposedly) drop below -2 now so reckon were laughing, the roads in Flixton are fine now, just a little left but should be well gone by tomorrow and i'm more concerned about the stay at home's with it being on the tele.

That snow that was going to doom us all according to the met office is now just a few flurries on the Pennines.

Tonight is forecast milder (less cold?) than of late.

Given the furore over Liverpool contacting the PL 3 days before the match to get a cancellation, and West Ham calling off a match with no snow on the roads for miles, cant see this one being called off now.

I'll bet that the ONLY reason Red Scouse wanted their game cancelling is that they have the FA Cup replay this Wednesday & they can't afford any injuries before that game. They would have had to put out a full strength side against Spuds as well.

Surprised that more hasn't been made of this - still, as long as we reap the benefit of Spupds not beating Liverpool due to the postponement, I'm not that arsed
