Bellamy's reaction to being subbed

Did it piss anyone else off or just me?
Grown to love the little fucker but tonight was probably one of his worst games this season.
Deservedly subbed, especially with his injury record and the important games we have coming up, what was his problem?
Nobody should ever be happy at being subbed but he just made himself look like a bit of a plonker tonight. Sorry Bellers.

No, take it the other way mate, he was pissed of because he wants to play!! I would want that from a player instead of a player shirking a tough game or bring too cold.

His face did catch my eye though. He was off the boil, but I think we are saving him for everton / scum.

If swp was fit and had played a few games I'd drop petrov for him on saturday.

Who knows what Bellamy is thinking Fidel, but I'm certain it wasn't "I wanted a full ninety tonight, where did I leave Harry's number?"
He's a bit of a perfectionist, lets have more of them I say!

That's just the kind of guy he is. Wouldn't be our Bellers if he didn't react like that. Hopefully he will be back on form next game.

you are a drama queen fidel !
I happen to like the fact that players aren't happy at being subbed.
Ok he wasn't great tonight but so far this season he's been one of our best players. I wouldn't read to much into his reaction at being subbed when we're 3-0 up

Maybe he was just pissed off with his perfomance, and thought he could have done better?

Haha I DID say I don't expect players to be happy at being subbed but if anyone should be accused of being a drama queen tonight, it should be Bellers. His exit from the pitch took about 2 minutes, yes I know you're pissed of Belly but get the fuck on with it you're still being subbed whether you jog off or pull an angry face and make a show of it.

Bellamy was definitely pissed off at his own performance, not the decision. Well, in my belief.

You can't always play to 100%, tonight was just not his night. I'm sure he's got plenty of great games ahead this season, I won't get too disheartened by this game.

I think we'll find he's taken a knock, I noticed him hold his ankle at one point in the second half and wondered if he's not feeling 100%?

Yes he's played better but he did have a couple of good darting runs down the left where he let the ball do the work and beat his man for speed in the same way that led to the first goal at Wolves.

It pissed me off, it was clearly the reaction that he had been subbed and not that over his performance, he was fucking terrible tonight, if Robinho had put in that kind of performance there would of been uproar.

Hope he's back to his best on Saturday allthough i wouldn't start him.

Why are people saying he was terrible? I don't think he played that bad at all...

Agree...some of his trickery, pace and guile in the first half was hot shit. He was giving their full backs an absolutely torrid time. It was just his final ball/end product that wasn't firing last night. His all round game was still pretty damn good IMO.

I think it was the fact that the final touch wasn't running for him that pissed him off last night.

He's a fantastic player with his own very high standards and I think he was disappointed with himself rather than the decision to hook him.

He should be, he was very poor. But, he has been our best player this season, though Tevez now has a strong claim for that title, with De Jong now pushing too. Class trio.
