Lawro still on form

Despite sensibly predicting a defeat for his own team at Stoke, Lawro descends into madness with a prediction for Pompey beating Brum. He also thinks Scum will struggle to beat Burnley 2-0, whereas I think Burnley are going to be on the end of a rebound-type slaughter after all that's happened to them, ideal to get it out of their system before we stuff them on Tues.

But the maniac predicts a third defeat of the season for our mighty City:

New Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has made a very good start. There is still the argument that Mark Hughes could have won the last four games, so it's early days, but Mancini has given players a fresh start and has played quite a few people who were on the fringes. That has created a healthy competition in the squad.

City are up against an Everton team who I thought could and should have beaten Arsenal. It was a very encouraging performance. On the back of that result, I think they will give a similar display but this time get the victory.

Everton had an awful start to the season with injuries, but David Moyes didn't go on about it and they are starting to get those players back now. I can see Everton having a very good final third of the season.

Verdict: 2-0

How is the Lawro-league doing KK, sorry cant remember where to find it?

I feel really confident now...A Lawro 2-0 to the Toffees translates to City to win by 3 or 4

2-0 to Everton? Fuckin dickhead. They will be very very lucky if they escape with a draw. How much is he paid to predict shit like that?

You know I could have understood if he predicted them snatching a late winner like a 2:1 or even a 1:0... but to predict that they will win 2:0 is just a joke.

On what does he base this prediction? We are in the best form we have been since the beginning of the season, won 5 on the trot and only conceded 1 goal in our last 4 games in all competitions... what is he smoking?

Fish, you're missing the point. City fans actually want him to predict sh*t like this !

I don't know if NQDP is keeping the Lawro table this season. IT would be great to look at

However, I for one am very relieved when he predicts a defeat for City, it invariably means we go on to stuff the opposition
which I duly expect City to do tomorrow.

Everton haven't even got a weapon to get at us with, Lescott is out, they've sent Jo back to us. We give them big buckeroos
and as a consequence it's time to turn the ingrates over , big time and on their own ground.

First task is for De jong to let Fellaini know who's in charge in the middle and for Petrov or Robbi to fly past chukle #2 for the first goal !

I can see them claiming a penalty though, it seems to be happening quite regularly these days against us.

I don't know why the BBC keep up this charade every year. The guy is a joke. He must be about 10% on City matches which is why we all dread it when he predicts a win for us.

If he knew anything about football he would see that City are a different team under Mancini. We have conceded 1 goal in 4 and scored in every game and created loads more chances yet Everton to beat us 2-0. Everton could and should have beaten Arsenal....yes well City could and DID beat Arsenal (twice) but does he mention that?

Useless twat

Hanson calls it as an away win.
Are Stadtler and Waldorf falling out?

Yeah ! It's quite easy to confuse Jim Henson with 'Hanson' isn't it. Either way those two certainly are muppets !

I think the Stadler and Waldorf comparison is unfair though because S&W are funny !

Hanson and Lawro. I'd compare them with Ernie and Bert and Bert's pigeon has more grey cells than H & L combined.

Found the Lawro-League link, but it's only up to 14 games. Might be doubly entertaining now if updated.

'Everton could have beaten Arsenal.'

But they didn't. And we have. Twice.

we have an average record at goodison pk.
a draw at theirs would not be a bad point imo.
if we win great.

We're unlucky to be playing the trogs during their bi yearly decent spell & they seem to see this as some kind of cup final so it's potentially one of our hardest remaining games.

A win would send a big message out but I'd be happy enough with a nice solid performance & a point, thus proving our recent spell isn't a flash in the pan & leaving us nicely placed for top 2- 3 after the very winnable games to come.

in his frazzled head liverpool have managed 30pts out of 14 games and everton have 27 pts out of 14 games
in the real world liverpool have managed ----33pts out of 20 games and everton have 23 pts out of 20 games

also notice the teams outside the beloved top 4 have lost 3 each, would that be 3 losses to teams within the big 4 i suppose, unfeasible in his little brain that they might get beat by the likes of villa, everton, totts and god for bid the devil that is manchester city

I lost track of his predictions whilst I was on holiday last month so the league has fallen by the wayside unfortunately.
