I really like the look of this guy and he also plays for one of Mancio's old teams Lazio.Would hope we give it a go and bid for him.

I thought he looked quite good at Brum the last time they were up. Not world class, but a decent premier league striker. I very much doubt that he would be an improvement on what we got, though (Benji possibly excluded).

Vastly improved since brum.. excellent player and if we cant have Messi then I'd take him and stick him behind Tevez and see how much fun they can have together.. on the pitch of course.

Class player, I all too well remember last year's derbies between Roma and Lazio, he was a nightmare for Roma defenders in both, even if Lazio lost the first 1-0, but then won the second 4-2. This season they lost the first 1-0 once more, but he again was a constant danger and hit the post after a very good solo move.

He has a mean dribbling, very skillful and quick, he also has a good shot, although this season he hasn't scored too much. If he has a fault, it is that he loves the ball too much, and he often doesn't pass it to better placed teammates.

He's a fan favourite there, but he's not too happy about their current manager, so if the boss stays (and it seems he could as results are getting better for them lately) I wouldn't rule out a move for him, but we would have to pay silly money for him, as their chairman Lotito is a greedy fucker.

Lotito kept Pandev on the sidelines for half this season because he wanted to leave last summer but nobody offered the silly money Lotito asked for him, and now Lazio lost Pandev on a free as a tribunal accepted his request to nullify the contract, and they are set to do the same with Ledesma. So if we want him, it won't be an easy deal to do.

Have we been linked to him in any way? If not what's the point?!

He has a cool name?

Imagine a strike force consisting of Zarate and Zamba. Sting like a bee, dance like a butterfly!

Zayate acted like a brat in his time in england if I remember rightly, a bit like amir Zaki did.Any trouble causing players can steer well clear IMO

All recent links seem to begin with 'Zarate's agent says he would like to move back to England'. So what is that worth?

I agree with WW, looks like trouble to me.

Well if I have to judge from recent weeks at Lazio he is a bit of a troublemaker, he doesn't get along with the manager (even if he plays him week in week out as Zarate probably is Lazio's most talented player) and is throwing his dummy because of that, I reckon if the manager stays he will be gone in the summer, much to the Lazio fans' dismay.

CFFR, who do you rate higher out of Zarate, Miccoli and Pazzini?

Well Miccoli and Zarate are more or less the similar kind of player so you can do a comparison, and I prefer Zarate. Both have a good dribbling and can create chances for their teammates, both can score and have a decent long distance shot, but Zarate is younger, and even now he is imho more talented, although as I said before, more egoistical.

Pazzini is a different kind of player, more of a target man, but I'm sure he'd be very good if paired with one of the other two, as in fact he has been since he's been paired with Cassano at Sampdoria. The fact is that we already have Robinho, Tevez and Bellers, not to mention SWP, who could do a job for us similar to Zarate, Miccoli and Cassano, and if Tevez and Robinho are in their day, they are probably better of those three (maybe Zarate could be on their level or very near, when in form).

Very overvalued striker, he would be perfect for a small Premier League club, like Notlob or Sixfingershanded, not a true City player definitively!!!
