You said the same about Bellamy.

Oh and some supporter you are "loving" the fact one of our players is injured.

You should be ashamed of yourself

He is only a bad signing because of his injuries. On ability he was a great signing.

I agree, but injuries are always going to play a major part in his career.

If we could get 25 games a season out of him then maybe he would prove to be a decent signing, but I think we all know that isn't likely to happen.

I have been one of the patient ones - thinking that CITY are just making sure that is injury is fully sorted and he is not rushed back - just to make sure that he covers for Ade - and when I saw him against Sunderland - I thought - wow / great

But after 4 mins yesterday - I was really fucking pissed off

Does anyone actually know what it was - I am hoping that it is minor and that the issue is that the injury site just does not have the information so we are all looking on the gloomy side

Christ, 10 games would be a start. Can honestly see him getting a new niggle every time he comes back.

Would be a good player but he's the same as Boj and just made out of glass.

funniest thing in ages!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Our old friend the Paraguay team doctor says in today's ABC Paraguay that it is:

'a fibroid rupture in the calf of the right leg'

He says we are looking at 15-20 days rest, but we will know for certain today (Monday).

At least it gives his tendonitis a rest!

Made me laugh.

I keep saying it but we should sign a striker, we can't trust, RSC, Ade, Bejani & now we may be headed for a problem with Robinho who's been crap so far when tried in that position anyway. That leaves just Bellamy, with his dodgy knees & Tevez. Why risk it?

And to think people laughed at us when we had "9 strikers" at the start of the season.

Shame about RSC but we've been adjusting to life without him for the majority of the season so no point bleating about it now. His injury record was on the box when we purchased him so we can hardly been shocked to see he's constantly injured, or coming back from an injury and thus never quite fully match-fit.

With Adebayor back god knows when, and in god knows what sort of mental condition, and Benjani simply not up to scratch its time to find another striker via the Chequebook.

I think it would be madness if he came back at the weekend. This may all be part of a successful rehabilitation of his tendonitis, but the immediate problem is this calf 'rupture' thing. Surely it may be fine by Friday but as soon as you put it under pressure again it will go. It needs to be rested.

The only way we can conceive of using him at Scunny is if he is completely discounted from the second leg to give someone else a rest in preparation.

Haha the article has changed mate. Ted was right to quote it and I read it and it said he could be back at Scunny. They've obviously had an update from the club to correct the MUEN!
