I could be interviewing Danny Tiatto!!

Postby dazby » Mon Jan 18, 2010 1:11 am

Hey guys. I'm a wee bit excited at the moment as I've taken the steps to secure an interview with DANNY TIATTO!!! In anticipation of this being successful I thought I'd put it out there and see if you guys have any questions you want me to ask him. I haven't secured the interview yet, but if they do give me the go ahead it could be anytime so I want to be prepared with questions. I already have plenty in mind but I thought I'd put it out there.

Ask him his best and worst moments at City/as a footballer in general. Does he remember the disallowed goal at Middlesbrough after that great run as vividly as City supporters do, or was it just one of those things for him. And about his kicking over the water bottles after being sent off at Maine Road, forgot the opposition. See if he knows Tim Cahill and whether he's as dirty a f*cker as I think he is.

Anyone know what he's doing now and whether he's back in Australia?

He currently plays for the Brisbane Roar in the A-League, which is my local team. He's playing as a defensive midfielder at the moment and averages a yellow card a game, true to form.

Not sure if I'll ask about Timmy, but the disallowed goal is DEFINITELY on the list.

Ask him if he had to check his passport just to reassure himself after what Keegan said when he was sent off against Blackburn!

Thanks for the update. If you get to do the interview maybe you can also ask him whether in life away from football he's lived up to his reputation as a bit of a mad bugger (however you want to put that), in the same vein whether he's done any "extreme sports." Or maybe deep down he he's a cup of tea & slippers kind of guy.

Ask him about THAT Blackburn game and what put him on that mindset. I have never in my lifetime seen anyone come off the bench with that sort of violent determination.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Not only that but I can remember watching the game with couple of mates and seeing the violent glimmer in his eye, I said as he was running on to the pitch that he wouldn't be in for a long. Make no mistake, he was out to get someone. I'd be genuinely interested why that was. Was it something that happened in tunnel before the game or something in his private life.

Dazza, I would also love to know who were his best mates in dressing room and who he couldn't stand. And another one to add to BobbyJ's question earlier, does he think if that goal against Middlesbrough had stood that we would've stayed up (I still do, btw).

I'd like to know if he can remember the words exchanged between him and Keegan after he'd just booted the water bottles and had to be restrained by his manager when he was sent off early in the 3-1 win at Maine Road against Norwich.

Image

Oh and please tell him that the memory of that dismissal still makes me laugh. What a mongrel!!

Nedergaard went down and for all the crowd's fury, the referee, Roy Pearson, had little choice but to send off Tiatto, who already has eight bookings this season, not to mention being sent off playing for Australia. To compound the offence Tiatto squared up to the Norwich bench before pathetically kicking their water bottles up in the air. Keegan, furious, ushered him none too gently down the tunnel.

"I think the referee just about got it right," Keegan said. "I don't think the player should take up boxing as he wouldn't last many rounds. Danny raised his hands, but I am more concerned about what he did afterwards, kicking bottles into their dug-out and wanting to fight the world. That's bad. I like Danny and I will sit down and have a chat with him."

Is this for the film your making Dazby?. Why not have a dramatic ending where you and Danny Tiatto run round the Scums ground firebombing it. You can forget you Quarintino you would have a best seller on your hands.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

I'd like to know (apart from the Blackburn 'incident') if he ever goes on fan websites and has he ever sneeked a peep on here. Also if you could arrange a 'Mark/Micah' style webchat in future for us. You'd get triple legend status for that I'm sure.

We could have betting on this answer. My bet is Stephen Rimmer. You can't go wrong with that name. Although Huckerby was too much of a fancy Dan to my liking as well. I'll still go with Carlo Nash.

And he scored with his belly. Surely there should be award of some sort for that.

In fact, if I joined now I might call myself Steve Howeys Belly.
