Any news if the clubs gonna do anything special tommorow?

Postby Vhero » Mon Jan 18, 2010 3:43 pm

Usually on a game like tomorrow the club does something huge . Like with the Hamburg game we got bananas for sale outside and last game we got flags (although thanks to a car crash on way I was late and some tit knicked my flag). Obviously not gonna be doing free scarves ;) but I have a feeling they will be doing something. Anybody who work at the ground know anything?

Like I said on the other thread...think we should have the lights down Blue Moon thing again to crank up the atmosphere

been a long time.

nice
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

I've just had an e-mail witha big blue moon on it saying 7.30 so looks like we are turning the lights off again.....
"Twas Derby day the scores were level,
Then Foe whacked the ball to Neville,
Gary messed up and now knows for sure,
If you feed the Goat then he will score!

I moved house so had no internet for a while and then I ahd a self imposed ban whilst I did all the DIY and shit that needed doing - also it was easy to avoid in the final weeks of Hughes as it had started to get a bit sepressing on here with everyone alwyas at each other.

But I am back now, back for good, like Barlow said.

Better than the Blue Moon thing is playing "We Will Rock You" really LOUD just before kick-off, like they did against Hamburg. It's a New York Mets things (at least it was when they were winning) and it sounds terrific. As for the fans, "Blue Moon" is OK to celebrate when City are in front but the thing that makes the biggest build-up of NOISE and can spur a team on is everyone just shouting "CITY, CITY" over & over; it's better than "Come On, Citeh" which actually sounds a bit thick when you hear thousands shouting it in Manc accents (like mine), plus it smacks of frustration at how the game is going.

A big fucking water cannon sprayed on to the scum fans, with Welcome to Manchester beamed on the screens. Then those soft southern tarts will know what we have to put up with for 365 days of the year.
