well it works on football manager........

Actually it doesn't too much for me, I usually use "You can win this" or, for home derbies, "Do it for the fans" ;)

But a special mention to Boyata I think is due, his first home start, first derby, and he was clearly nervous before kick off, but imho he played quite well. I'm not sure if maybe he could have done something to stop Giggs from scoring, but it wasn't his fault really, it was just a bit of an unlucky situation.

He managed to prevent Richards scoring pretty nicely ;)

Ahah, true, but to be honest I don't think that header would have gone in, but I guess we will never know now...

Dilemma for the second leg: supposed to be playing footy 1900-2000, do I miss it and watch all the game, or miss the start (what time KO?) and watch the rest in the pub in my sweaty City shirt?

We need to retain greater possession of the ball and not be intimidated by the reputation of the rags. The massive investment of the sheik in our squad has allowed us to catch up to the advantages the rags have had over us and we should be intimidated by no one. As long as we send out a good side, organized properly according to a good tactical game plan, we should have no trouble getting to Wembley- and WINNING THERE. Come on, CITY!!!

Couldn't agree more. We gave away possession way to easily and didn't play it smart into the corners to waste time.

Did I hear rightly on the BBC1 commentary that this year's final is on the exact same date as in '76?
