Ratings vrs rags

Postby paulmclaren » Tue Jan 19, 2010 10:15 pm

Given-8-again, much needed, quality from the best keeper in the world atm.
Richards-6-hot and cold, looked really tired near the end.
Boyata-5-looked good when in possesion, the game was to big for him, although he didn't have much to do.
Kompany-8-this guy is revling at centre half, Lesscott shouldn't get a sniff, mancini was watching my thread lol.
Garrido-6-out of position alot 1st half and nervous in possesion, looked 10x better second half.
Swp-6-fits and starts from Shauney, always the same when he gets back from injury, needs to resettle.
De jong-7-takles grass for a living this guy, brilliant player.
Barry-5-out of sorts, didn't have no energy, i would get this operation done now.
Zabaletta-7-another workhorse and decent passer, kept us going at times.
Bellamy-7-ran himself mad as useual, good tricks(at times), more moaning, that's Bellamy.
Tevez-9-2 goals, ran all night, a ledgend in the making.

Subs....
Benjarni-5-i shit it when he come on, no energy upfront at all, proves how much a workhorse is needed up front, not ewnough time really.
Sylvinho-5, no time on pitch.

Note-no Robinho again.
He'll be gone imo.

Mancini-7-we were crap at the start of the 1st half, changed tatics, fixed it.
Looks good :)

giving richards 1 more than benjani is shocking, richards was covering all over the place tonight and had a world superstar (apparently) to mark!

Fuck off you rag cock sucking twats.
Anyone who says they want rooney should be banned.
Seriously.
The twat would not come here anyway.
The only way i support him is when he plays for England.
I agree he is a quality player, but if you ask me is over rated.
Anyway.
Fuck all these rag lovers off lol.

paulmclaren wrote:Given-8-again, much needed, quality from the best keeper in the world atm. what's a 10? he even did fantastically for their goal - shame it clipped Boyata (who looked a little naive tonight) or it wouldn't have been a goal
Richards-6-hot and cold, looked really tired near the end. Thought he went forward well, looked strong in the air; Giggs dominated him last time so today marked a good recovery
Boyata-5-looked good when in possesion, the game was to big for him, although he didn't have much to do.naive positioning and too much of a step up this early for me. promising and strong[er than fucking lescott] in the air though
Kompany-8-this guy is revling at centre half, Lesscott shouldn't get a sniff, mancini was watching my thread lol.9 - cleared almost everything, assist for the goal
Garrido-6-out of position alot 1st half and nervous in possesion, looked 10x better second half.set up to protect him and he still looked vulnerable - not of the requisite standard
Swp-6-fits and starts from Shauney, always the same when he gets back from injury, needs to resettle.struggled to provide the necessary link up play but him and Richards controlled the right flank pretty well; decent outlet at times
De jong-7-takles grass for a living this guy, brilliant player. more than a 7
Barry-5-out of sorts, didn't have no energy, i would get this operation done now. I thought he was better than that without being especially influential
Zabaletta-7-another workhorse and decent passer, kept us going at times. not sure he knew his role half the time, I wouldn't deploy him in that way - will need to check out the chalkboards but intuitively I don't think he did enough
Bellamy-7-ran himself mad as useual, good tricks(at times), more moaning, that's Bellamy.9 - took the fight to them single handed at times
Tevez-9-2 goals, ran all night, a ledgend in the making.

Subs....

Mancini-7-we were crap at the start of the 1st half, changed tatics, fixed it. I'm reserving judgment - the result is a 10, but some of his decisions were staggering and there's no denying we were lucky

Your so mature you know. So anything that isnt City related doesnt float your boat?

This is a FOOTBALL forum and that gives people the freedom to talk about anything that involves football and if somebody wants to big up a player who has had a good game then so be it.

Fair enough.
MR MATURITY.
Maybe you can put your city top back on now and take your beloved red top off?
And don't be calling me immature when it was you who said it should be me to take my blue glasses off?
I just said the same thing back.
Opinions, opinions.

I don't think it is very fair to attack Benjani for his performance as a substitute tonight. He hardly got any service from our midfield and did what it seems he was meant to do: hold up the ball in the rags half and wait for others to arrive. By the time he was brought on, we were not set up to do anything other than hold onto the lead and perhaps try to create something on the break without committing too many forward. If he had been receiving proper service and was part of an attack trying to create something, I would be more inclined to agree. Benjani Mwaruwari is not a bad forward at all, given his limitations. It all comes down to using him properly.
