Given - 8: some awesome stops but thought he was too rooted to his line on a lot of crosses/corners
Richards - 8: a man on a mission after the late mistake at the swamp
Boyata - 7: kept Rooney quiet for most of the game
Kompany - 7: still had ropey looking moments but much improved on his showing at Everton
Garrido - 6: still can't make my mind up if it's sown to his positioning or Mancini's instructions but he did give Valencia a lot of space in the first half. Bellers was most to blame for their goal as he should have just have put the ball out but Gaz should have been a lot closer
De Jong - 9.9: loses 0.1 because of his poor shot in the second half, otherwise flawless
Zabba - 7: got away with diving in as is his wont, some of his passing was a bit wayward
Barry - 6: If he needs an op then get him sent for it now
SWP - 7: didn't get the ball to him enough and understandably looked a little rusty towards the end
Bellamy - 7: Anonymous for most of the first half, great in the second
Tevez - 9: Worked tirelessly, scored two goals and wound Chuckle up, quality
Benjani - 1: Useless, the complete opposite of Tevez and the main reason that we were up against it in the last 10 mins
Sylvinho - 6: shame he hasn't got any pace as we could have had a 3-1 lead to the next leg
Onuoha - 7: Goal line clearance and solid in the centre of the storm

Given - 8 - Shot stopping excellent. Less poor decisions.

Richards - 7 - Had a good battle with Giggs and Evra. Those 2 are a handfull for anyone.

Boyata- 6 - Showed some naivety but wasnt embarrassed by Roney at all.

Kompany - 8 - After saturdays meltdown, welcome back.

Garrido - 7 - Got tight to Valencia and made the tackles. Expected him to get a raping but he didnt so kudos and well played.

De Jong - 8 - His type of match.

Barry - 8 - Used the ball well and covered so much ground.

Zabs - 7 - Filled the gaps where Barry and De Jong were not standing and the did alright down the right in the second half.

SWP - 6 - Glimpses of quality but barely saw the ball and gave it away on numerous occasions. On way back from injury.

Bellemy - 8 - Worked ever so hard for the team and was a threat going forward.

Tevez - 9 - Class

Subs

Onuoha - 7 - Thught he did a handball towards the end but got some keys block in and stood up to be counted.

Benjani - 5 - Didnt pressure United in the slightest. Flustrating.

Sylvinho - Was hoping for a wondergoal at the end, not quite that fast anymore i guess.
